Chapter 13: Wave after wave.

It had been a few days or so, there was a lot going on. You knew it was alpha sending all these walkers over to you in waves, multiple people had been up for the past few nights killing a bunch of them. Luckily by this morning everyone was able to kill them all and that was it, no more waves of walkers... for now.

You couldn't really sleep that well as you were anxious for everyone, Daryl, Michonne, Aaron, Rosita, the list goes on and on. Negan had been out too to help clear up the dead Walkers bodies and you were worried just incase he got attacked. You had been keeping an eye on R.J and Judith as well as they were both just as anxious as you. Judith would be in and out of sleep but R.J would be able to sleep through the night.

It was the morning, Michonne was finally back as you sat in the bed with R.J as he was asleep and Judith sat on the windowsill looking outside. Michonne walked in as she sat down on the bed next to R.J.

"Hey, how you feeling?" She asked you.

"Michonne don't worry about me, there's enough going on outside that you need to worry about." You answered.

"I know, I know. I just wanna make sure your okay." She held your hand. You smiled at her as Judith asked "well?"

"Well what?" Michonne asked back.

"Is it safe?"

Michonne went to talk but she was cut off by her walkie-talkie "Michonne do you copy?" A voice came through. She sighed as she then pulled the walkie-talkie out.

"Hey, relax surely there's something I can do to help. I feel useless doing nothing." You shifted to get up.

"No, your staying here with your brother and sister. I don't want anything to happen to you if you came out with us." Michonne snapped at you. You looked at her, and got yourself back into bed.

"Sorry, I'm really tired. I didn't mean to snap like that." She smiled at you.

"I get it don't worry. Just shout up to me if you need me." You smiled back at her. Michonne then answered the walkie-talkie and left the room.

"Mums right, you shouldn't help even though you really want to." Judith butted in.

"Do you think we're gonna be ok? Safe I mean?" Judith then asked.

"Of course we are! Come here." You said as you opened your arms out for a hug as Judith then sat in bed next to you and hugged you.

A few hours had passed you managed to get a little bit of sleep, you woke up with Judith fast asleep and R.J was still sleeping too. You slowly and carefully got out of bed trying not to wake Judith and R.J up, but it was too late. They had already started to wake up.

"Hey. What are you doing?" Judith asked as she sat up and rubbed her eyes.

"I was going to get breakfast for you and R.J" you then smiled.

"Ok cool! I'll come and help you!" Judith got out of bed and walked out of the bedroom and down the stairs. R.J then sat up and got out of bed.

"Hey sleepy head! How did you sleep?" You asked as R.J hugged you.

"Good." He replied whilst he was still hugging you and he rubbed his eyes.

"Do you wanna have some breakfast?" You asked.

"Yeah!" R.J excitedly but carefully let go of you and began to run towards the stairs. You then slowly made your way down the stairs and into the kitchen where Judith had cut up all the fruit for you.
