Chapter 20: Intruders

It had been a few days after the Dante incident, Gabriel ended up killing him and burnt his body. Daryl, Carol, Aaron, Jerry, Magna, Connie and Kelly all went out looking for Lydia and trying to find alphas herd.

Finally Judith was back home but Michonne was still out as she went to go find some weapons with this guy she met at ocean side. Luckily people had stepped in for being doctors as some knew what to do. But you were head doctor now and people relied on you the most. And people were still searching for Negan but most had given up as it had been nearly a week since he'd gone.

But you had been secretly coming up with a plan on leaving and crossing alphas border to try and find Negan. You were going to act on this either tonight or tomorrow.

It was late morning, around 10. You were up and about in the infirmary checking on patients and patching some up to. Judith was in and out of the infirmary with you.

Once you were done in the infirmary you left the other doctors to see the other patients as you and Judith walked outside to see people gathered by the gates. You both walked over to see someone stood there with guards all around her.

"What's going on?" You asked as you stood next to Rosita.

"This is the one Aaron has been talking too. She's said about how Daryl and the others are trapped in a cave." Gabriel said.

"How can we trust anything you say?" You asked as you stepped forward.

"I'm trying to help." She said.

"If I give you a map will you show us where the cave is?" Gabriel questioned.

"Yes." She replied as she nodded her head.

Gabriel then nodded his head towards the guards as they lowered their weapons, she then started to walk in slowly looking around, she then looked at Rosita as Rosita then punched her causing her to fall to the floor.

"Your a liar." Rosita spat.

"The cell." Rosita demanded as guards lifted her up and walked her over to Negan's old cell.

Judith then grabbed your hand and held it, "do you think she knows Negan?" She asked looking up at you.

"I'm hoping so. I'm going down there later to ask." You said as you smiled down at Judith and squeezed her hand.

You then both walked back towards your house as you saw Natasha with Carla.

"Hey gorgeous!" You said as you took Carla off of Natasha. You then kissed her as you bobbed her up and down.

"She's been as good as gold again." Natasha smiled.

"I bet she has." You said as you smiled back at Natasha.

"Just drop her off anytime you need." She said as she smiled and waved goodbye to you. You and Judith then walked inside the house as you got some school work out for her.

"Here, you do a few of these for me and then we'll play a game or colour alright?" You said.

"Ugh do I have to?" She moaned.

"Yes you do!" You handed her the school work and she sat down at the table.

"If you need any help, remember to ask ok?" You reassured her as you walked into the kitchen and grabbed some water for Judith.

"I will!" She said you then walked back out of the kitchen and gave Judith the glass of water as you sat down on the sofa cuddling with Carla as she quietly fell asleep.
