Chapter 19: Betrayal

It was the morning, you had only just gotten back to Alexandria as you were walking all night. Carol immediately walked in and went down to the cell with Daryl to shove the whisperer in.

But as soon as you walked in, blood still covered your clothes, neck and chest, Gabriel, Saddiq and Dante and rushed over to you.

"(Y/N)? Thank god your okay." Dante hugged you not caring you had blood all over you.

"Where were you? We've all been worried sick." Gabriel then said.

"I'm fine, I was with Daryl and Carol. We were trying to find Negan." You hugged Dante back as you carefully pulled away from him.

"You need to get some rest. Carla and R.J are being take care of. Go home take a shower and rest for me. When you ready come and find me so I can check over you." Saddiq suggested.

You nodded your head as you dragged your feet across the floor as Dante walked you back home.

"So did you find him?" He asked.

"Yeah, he was swarmed by a bunch of walkers. But the next time I looked he was gone." You explained.

"Dang, I'm sorry." Dante said.

"It's not your fault, stop apologising." You giggled as you turned round and smiled at him.

"Well this is your stop. Remember get enough rest." Dante walked up the stairs with you.

"Thank you kind sir, I shall get plenty of rest." You opened the door. Dante then went in to hug you, as you then hugged him back.

"I missed you. A bit too much, don't go out again." He said as he pulled back and looked at you.

"I'm a tough girl, I can handle myself." You laughed.

Dante smiled and without any warning he went in for a kiss. You immediately backed away as you pressed your hand against his mouth.

"Woah there partner." You awkwardly laughed.

"Shit, sorry my bad." He lowered his head and pulled away from you.

"My husband may not be here, but he's still my husband." You held up your left hand and showed your engagement and wedding ring to Dante.

"Yup, I'm sorry Mrs. Completely my fault." He joked.

"Anyway get cleaned up and some rest. I'll be coming to check on you after you've finished with Saddiq." Dante smiled as he walked away. You then walked inside and up the stairs into the bathroom.

You turned on the shower and immediately got in cleaning off all the blood from your body. After your shower you got dressed into comfy clothes and headed downstairs to wash your bloody clothes, hoping all the blood would come out of your dads t-shirt.

Once you finished all that you hung up the clothes to dry and went back upstairs and into your bed. Your mind was racing a million miles per hour, constantly thinking of Negan until you shut down and went to sleep completely.

It had been many many hours later, you had woken up checking your watch to see it was 3:00pm. You then got up and remembered to head to Saddiq for a check up, You put on your shoes and walked out the door to try and find Saddiq.

You looked around until you saw him at the water station, he looked soaking wet. You walked over to him and shouted "hey! You ok?"

"Y-yeah." He replied.

"What's up?" He asked.

"My check up remember." You joked with him.

"Oh yeah. Just uh gimme a sec." he said as he looked at the handles for the water pumps. He then bent one down and twisted it back the right way for drinking water.
