Chapter 11: Unexpected News... (The Storm End)

You and Negan were sat there cuddling under the blanket for a while "I can't stay silent any longer I gotta say something." Negan smirked.

"No, keep your mouth shut, talk about something else." You looked up to him.

"Gabe, your girls doc is also your girls baby daddy. So do you ever wonder what the hell is going on in there when she has her "appointments"?" Negan asked as he smirked down at you.

"Ignore him." You huffed as you gently slapped his thigh.

"You know were all grown ups here. And nothing will ever let that ruin the longstanding friendships and respect we have" Gabriel ignored Negan's comment.

"Do you know what? You're right. That is a very mature attitude father." Negan then said.

"Not the father" Negan then added. You slapped his thigh again as you the raised the blanket up to your mouth trying to hide your smile. You then quietly laughed into the blanket as you tried to stop yourself.

"Alright just laugh. Go on laugh." Gabriel groaned as he wasn't amused.

You cleared your throat "sorry, I'm sorry. It wasn't that funny." You snickered as you started to burry your head into Negan's chest as you began laughing into him. You could feel Negan laughing too.

You eventually calmed down "Judith don't sit too close to the window. Come here." Judith began to walk over to you.

"You still worried about that mutt kiddo?" Negan asked.

"Uncle Daryl told me to look after him." Judith said as she sat on your lap.

"We will find him. He's gonna be ok." Negan reassured Judith. You then saw Judith hand a small box to Negan as she got up from your lap and gave a death stare at him.

"Jeez alright kiddo I guess I gotta do it now." Negan huffed.

"Do what?" You grew suspicious. Judith then grew a massive smile across her face as she looked back and forth at you and Negan.

"Well look I'm kinda shit at this cra-"

"Language!" Judith shouted.

"Whoops. Sorry kiddo." Negan smiled.

"Well I never know what to say but, I'm kinda glad on that night with the whole "suck my nuts" situation." Negan started to say.

Negan then cleared his throat "Well what I'm trying to say is this, I don't think I would ever actually meet someone after Lucille but that changed."

"Oh my gosh, he wants to marry you. He's proposing!" Judith blurted out as she couldn't wait any longer.

"Cheers kid." Negan smirked at Judith. You were shocked you didn't know what to say. Negan opened the box and inside was a silver tear shaped diamond ring, you looked at it in awe.

"H-how did you make this? How did you find it? W-What?" You looked at it closer.

"He designed it for you, the hilltop gathered a bunch of old rings they found and melted them into these rings." Judith explained.

"So whatcha say?" Negan smiled.

You carried on looking at the ring, you were completely shocked at it all that the hilltop collected a bunch of rings and melted this ring for you.

"How did they get the diamond?" You asked.

"Again hilltop with all the different rings they had. I went up to the black smiths with mum and got the rings done! And then picked them up at the fair with Gabriel." Judith couldn't wipe the smile from her face.
