"Pidge, scan the download from the ship. Find out where Zarkon's central command is." Shiro commanded as we headed into the crystal room.
"On it!" Pidge spoke as she rushed over to her chair, Hunk at her side as she scanned through the info.
"What happened? Where's Allura?" Coran asked looking to the lot of us.
"They captured her. She sacrificed herself to save me and the information. I didn't have a choice." Shiro spoke looking away from the older man.
"How is that possible?" Coran asked looking to me before Shiro.
"Coran, I'm sorry things didn't go as planned, but we can't focus on what went wrong. We've got to figure out how to make it right. Pidge, anything?" Shiro spoke looking over to the young girl.

"Guys, look at this." Pidge spoke as we huddled around her chair looking as she enlarged her screen.
"Look at the size of it!" Coran muttered and I nodded.
"I think we should go in right away. Every minute we waste gives Zarkon time to prepare for us." Pidge spoke.
"I agree. We form Voltron, fly in, fly out, dust off our hands, and walk away." Lance spoke looking to the rest of us.
"Um, do you guys not remember the Balmera? We could barely take out one fleet. But this... a base this size could hold a thousand fleets!" Hunk explained and I nodded a bit startled as I heard Keith speak up from behind me.
"Or maybe we shouldn't go on this mission at all. Think about it. We'll be delivering the universe's only hope to the universe's biggest enemy." I stared kind of disappointed at the younger boy.
"Keith, that's cold, even for you. What if it was one of us? What if it was me? You wouldn't leave me, would you? Would you?" Hunk asked as I looked away to avoid Keith's eyes hoping that one of us would be on his side.
"I'm not saying I like the idea. I'm just thinking like a paladin." Keith complained.
"No, you're thinking of yourself because you're too scared to do what's right!" Lance spoke up.
"Okay, we're all upset because we lost Allura." Pidge spoke as Coran turned towards Shiro.
"No, Shiro lost Allura." Coran argued.
"Okay, okay! This isn't helping. We can't just sit here and bicker like this." Hunk spoke loudly.
"Let's focus. How are we going to get Allura?" Shiro asked.

The four younger Paladins all searched through the information as they sat in their chairs. I helped Coran sift through information as I had some knowledge on the inside of Zarkon's command, despite me hoping that I had suppressed it deep down.

"I know you're worried about her. We all are. I'm sorry I let her slip away." I heard Shiro's voice as he walked over to me and Coran.
"I know it's not your fault. It's just... I've already lost so much. I can't lose Allura, too." Coran spoke as he looked down.
"We'll find a way to get her back. If there was just a way to get close to Zarkon's ship unseen..." Shiro sighed as I looked over to the two.
"Wait a tick. I think I've got a way." Coran spoke as a image of a planet enlarged itself.

"Everyone, eyes front. We've got a plan to get Allura. We're going to jump to the heart of the enemy, unseen and undetected." Shiro spoke to the lot of us.
"I thought we needed Allura to open up a wormhole." Pidge spoke.
"It's true that Allura powers the Castle's ability to travel through wormholes. However, I think we have enough of her residual essence stored in the system to make one jump. We'll hide the Castle here, inside one of these giant gas planets in Zarkon's command system. The gas is so dense, we'll be hidden." Coran explained as he showed us the enlarged picture of one of the gas planets.
"From there, we'll use the Castle to scan for Allura on Zarkon's ship and attack before Zarkon knows what hit him." Shiro spoke and I nodded.
"There's only one hiccup. We have enough energy to wormhole in, but, without Allura, we won't have enough energy to wormhole out." Coran informed and I nodded again.
"It doesn't matter. We're not leaving without her." Shiro assured Coran.

We got ready to wormhole and I sat down in my chair, in the middle of the others over looking Shiro and where Coran stood.

We wormholed directly into the centre of the gas plant and I stood up closing down my screen as Shiro took a deep breath in.
"We're here." He spoke.
I made my way over to the control panel with the rest of the Paladins behind me.
"I'm detecting Allura's energy signature. From this distance, the signal's pretty weak, but she's somewhere in Zarkon's main ship." Coran spoke and I nodded.
"Gives us a starting point." Keith spoke and I looked up to Shiro.
"Once we get closer, we'll be able to narrow down the location where the Princess is being held." Coran spoke as he typed away on a screen trying to get a better read of Allura's energy.
"Okay, guys, this is it. Voltron is going to come in fast and without warning. We'll smash our way into Zarkon's ship and grab the Princess. Before they know what hit them, we'll have the Princess and be on our way." Shiro informed clasping his hand to my shoulder looking to me.
"You'll grab the Princess Iris. If any of us know the inside of Zarkon's ship well, it's you." Shiro spoke and I nodded before following the rest of the Paladins out and to our lions.

Launching from the ship we formed Voltron and flew in and I watched as the main ship started to form a barrier around the fleet.
"What is that?" Hunk asked.
"I don't know, but I hope once we get the Princess, we can find a way out of here." Pidge spoke as I shifted my attention to the fleets in front of us.
"They're going to fire!" Pidge called.

We blasted and cut through ships as we neared the main ship.
"There's Zarkon's ship." Shiro spoke and I nodded as I suddenly lost control of Aqua.
"What's going on?" Hunk asked as I saw our sword break down.

Everyone spoke overlapping as something tore Voltron apart.
I closed my eyes feeling that horrid witch, the one who had tortured me when I was held captive, she was in my mind.
I heard Shiro groan and I finally pried my eyes open seeing as the green lion approached and set me down on the side of Zarkon's ship.
"Thanks Pidge." I spoke.

"I've identified Allura's exact location. Uploading the coordinates to you, now. In the meantime, I'll provide covering fire from out here, all alone, against an entire fleet. So, yeah, do you mind hurrying?" Coran spoke and I sighed as I ejected myself from Aqua and motioned for Pidge to get going.

I cut a circle into the ship and dropped down seeing Shiro's dot on my tracker. I started running down hall after hall seeing as I was getting closer to Allura.

I was right outside of Allura's cell when...
I looked up to the yellow lion and sighed and I sliced the door open.
"Iris! Hunk!" Allura called running over to me and Hunk.
"We're going to get you out of here." Hunk smiled as Allura looked between the two of us.
"What are you doing here? Tell me you didn't bring Voltron straight to Zarkon's central command! Where's the Black Lion?" Allura demanded and I looked over to Hunk.
"We have to save Shiro!" Allura demanded starting to walk in one direction and I watched with a confused look.
"Your going the wrong way Allura." I spoke simply and she stopped following me as I started to head off towards Shiro.

"Iris, Hunk, did you get the Princess?" I heard Lance ask through the coms.
"We got her, but there's a change of plans." Hunk spoke.

I took off racing, Allura and Hunk close behind me.
I froze seeing the horrid witch and countless copies of her and Shiro on the floor.
"Which one's the real one?" Hunk asked holding his Bayard as I held my sword ready to strike.

She let out a cruel laugh and I fought back the urge to strike immediately.
"Hunk, there! Fire!" Allura called and Hunk shot at the witch.

She disappeared and I ran over to Shiro helping him stand up.
"Let's get going." I smiled at Shiro as I lead him towards the black lion.
Shiro had gotten in and I looked over seeing as Aqua had came to my aid.

"Thanks girl." I smiled climbing into my lions mouth and getting into the cockpit.
We all piloted back to the castle and I set down waiting for us to wormhole out.
"Hello? What's going on? I don't see a wormhole." Hunk called.
"The Galra barrier is jamming our ability to create one!" Coran responded and I frowned.

"They have us completely surrounded!" Coran called out.
I watched as the galra's barrier disappeared.
"What just happened?" Pidge asked.
"Who cares? Wormhole!" Hunk called as we entered the wormhole.

It changed in colours and I watched the red and purple colours take over.
"Coran? What's happening?" I asked groaning as Aqua bashed around in her hanger.
"The integrity of the wormhole has been compromised. It's breaking down!" Coran yelled as I braced myself for impact, holding onto Aqua's chair.
"What does that mean?" Lance asked horrified.
"It means we have no control over where we're headed!" Coran yelled as we all screamed out as our lions scattered falling through different wormhole exits.
