Test?

Hi I'm not dead. I just got lazy and also writer's block is the worst. Short filler chapter hoping I can get back my motivation and expel this writer's block. Also school started and remote learning is wack, stay safe!

(Alpha's POV)

There were three Nomus standing in front of me. They were weaker than the one we used on All Might, but they were still powerful enough to give the local heroes some trouble. The plan for the night was to wreak havoc onto Hosu city using these Nomus, with me and Deku watching over them from a distance. I really didn't understand why Shigaraki wanted to use them over some grudge he has with Stain; his irritation over a feeling of the fact that they would probably never get along. 

Deku was meeting with the big boss or something in the main bar room so I spent time examining the Nomus more closely. Fascinating how the Nomus are just humans with multiple quirks piled on top of them, I wondered where the quirks came from. I seriously wondered what Deku was doing... 

(Deku's POV)

I can't believe what I'm hearing. Shigaraki's boss, or should I say my boss now, is offering me... a quirk? I stared at the screen which had the words Audio Only displayed on it. "W-who are you?" I ask.

"I am All for One," the voice says. "My quirk allows me to take people's quirks and give them to others. I know you are quirkless, I know you want power, and if you want to move on it would be preferred if you have a quirk of your own." 

A quirk... I have imagined my entire life how things would be so different if I had a quirk... and now I could have one of my own. My ways of revenge on Kacchan suddenly doubled as I imagined payback. Sweet brilliant payback. "So you're going to give one? To me?" I asked eagerly. 

"Yes. After your next task, however. If you do well, I'll be seeing you soon," he says and the line disconnects. I smiled, this is like a dream come true. 

"Deku! Are you done yet?" I heard Alpha's voice from outside. 

"Coming!" I said, joining her in the next room. She slipped on a dark hoodie and a matching dark face mask, before tossing me something similar. "What did you and the boss talk about?" she questioned. 

I grinned, "If I do well tonight, I can get a quirk of my own." 

She looked at me, interested, "So it's true? There really is a powerful villain who can take people's quirks and pass them on?" I shrugged assuming she was talking about All for One. "Alright then, let's do very well tonight! I'm sure there's a bigger scheme planned after this and you'll definitely need a quirk for that," she said. 

Just then, Kurogiri came in. He was to warp us to Hosu City. "Ready?" he asks. 

Alpha and I look at each as we slip on our hoods. "Ready."
