Jungkook huffed out a big breath as he pouted deeply.

Jemin was having himself a nice laugh while sitting on top of the younger's back.

"You're shit at combat."

If it didn't feel like his lungs were being crushed under the pink bastard's weight, JK would've made a smart remark.

But the pressure of Jemin's ass pressing his diaphragm deeper and deeper into the sand shut him up and made him accept his defeat.

Jemin clicked his tongue almost disappointedly, while crossing his legs and propping his elbow on his knee with his chin in his hand.

"It makes me embarrassed that such an undisciplined and considerably untalented fighter as yourself found a way to best me in our previous fight."

JK's face was turning red from both anger and lack of oxygen.

Taezanite only chuckled from his spot in the sand behind him.

"It was probably beginners luck, but it doesn't matter now. Let's move on then."

When Jemin got up, the gasp of air that Jungkook inhaled was almost as comical as the glare he shot his "trainer" after he'd pulled himself together.

The older gave the glowering boy a chance to get out of his feelings before introducing the next exercise.

"The next category we will be exploring will be one within my own area of expertise. The Illusory category."

"Ok," Jungkook replied

"what do I need to do?"

Jemin closed the gap between him and his student, making it to where there noses were almost touching.

"I'm going to put you in an illusion that could be as good or as bad as you make it. All you have to do is just remember that none of it is real. If you can fight it, that means your category is most likely Illusion."

With a simple nod and determined eyes, JK did his best not to tense up when Jemin's tiny, cold fingers met his temples.

Before he could register anything properly, a blinding white light flashed and blurred his vision.

It felt like forever had came and went before his eyesight finally cleared up.

However, when it did, there was nothing but darkness before him.

He knew he wasn't dead because he could hear himself breathing and could feel his neck turning this way and that.

But if oblivion was a place, JK thought that it definitely would look like this. Infinite nothing.

Suddenly a whisper sounded in the darkness, and the boy's head snapped in the direction from which it came.

He waited patiently for another sound to come and indicate that he hadn't imagined it, but he sat for a long while and there was nothing.

And then...

there it was again.

It was a voice JK both recognized but also had never heard before. For some reason, the thought made his heart race and his palms began to sweat.

Hello?

He felt his lips make the movement but no sound came out of his mouth.

The boy was beginning to panic.

Where the hell was he and why couldn't he see or talk?

The voice came again.

This time Jungkook just barely made out what was said.
