Jungkook slowly stood to his feet and stalked slowly in Sugilite's direction, Sugilite never moving an inch and standing his ground.

"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY ABOUT MY DAD?" Jungkook boomed.

Now there was limited space between the gems, Jungkook's frame towering intimidatingly over Sugilite.

However , the purple gem sneered right in the furious boy's face without batting an eyelash.

'I said your dad is as good as dead if we, the people you dispise so much, don't save him from the Diamonds."

Every gem in the room was holding their breath at this point. Sugilite had fumbled the secret that they'd lied about where his dad was and why Jungkook was left to them.

Even before this moment, they'd known that if by some sick twist of fate the boy ever found this out, his reaction would not be pretty.

"Now, is that your problem, half breed?" Sugilite taunted.

Nobody had seen Namjewel move discreetly and silently from his spot to the back of Jungkook.

Thick veins decorated Jungkook's arms and neck as he let Sugilite's words sink in. He could feel his rage giving him power, making every blood cell come alive with a burning strength that had laid dormant inside him for so many years. It felt like hot magma straight from an erupting volcano in Jungkook's veins and the sensation felt better than the first time. It was like the power was burning every trace of weakness out of him.

He was going to kill this fucker here and now.

His clothes rippled with a sudden wave of supernatural distortion and were replaced with his very own battle armor, just like the armor the other gems were adorned in.

Like their armor, his was unique in its own right.

The armor was clearly made so he could retain his speed, seeing as the suit as a whole fit slimly to his figure. The base color of the armor was black , but on his right shin, thigh, peck and shoulder, a padding of  thick material, fiery red in color, covered each respective body part. On his left side, padding of the same material ,fiery orange in color, were in the same places upon the black base. The paddings had intricate black swirly designs that resembled flames rising toward JK's head.

The back of his body had the same paddings, but they were the color of the base fabric and blended into it.

His boots were midnight black and were as thick and haughty as military boots. They laced up just below the lower part of the shin padding. The soles looked solid enough to kick a hole through a wall just using one foot alone. A ring of small flames had formed on the ground around said boots.

His hands were covered with fingerless athletic gloves, the colors of the palms of each glove on each hand matching the colors of the padding on whichever side of the body they were on.

The armor made his mismatched eyes stand out even more, the color of the right eye matching the colors worn on the left side of the body and vice versa. It also set off his now even longer hair, the ombred strands now swishing around his shoulders.

Jemin's mouth went slack as he witnessed the half breed do what he hadn't been able to do before in training, Taezanite's expression mirroring his completely.

He'd not only been able to cloak into his armor, but he was also tapping into his special ability, which was apparently fire?????

Fire wasn't among the elements known nature gems could wield. The diamonds had been extra careful not to allow the creation of a gem that could have such a devastatingly powerful ability.
