"Freya, do you understand the terms of the agreement? You are to be Joshua's girlfriend in public. All this entails are a few public outings with him, hand holding, etc. Just make sure you catch the eye of the paparazzi. What you two do behind closed doors is your own business. It's all outlined here in the contract in case you need a refresher. What do you say?" Aaron said to me. 

"I'll do it." I said. 

I had been working non-stop crappy jobs to get some kind of income. They had consisted of waitressing, bartending, and gas station cashier just to get some money in my pocket. This was a miracle job, how could I refuse? All I had to do was pretend. It was a no-brainer. 

I signed my name on all the dotted lines and then that was that. They brought the band into the room to fill them in on the situation. The boy I assumed to be Josh took a seat next to me, his curly hair bouncing as he walked. He beamed at me, exposing his pearly whites. I could tell it wouldn't be difficult to fake my relationship with him, seeing he was so charming. That was when another member of the band caught my attention. He resembled Josh almost exactly, but his long straight hair tumbled over his shoulders effortlessly. He was more reserved, not making long eye contact with me before taking his place next to Josh. 

Because of all the physical attention fans had been giving Josh, for fear of his safety, for the next 5 months, I was Josh Kiszka's girlfriend. I was to be with them for social outings and appear at a few shows during their tour. I was to post Josh on my social media, and not disclose the deal to anyone. They all nodded, as they understood. Management left, letting me get acclimated and get to know the band. 

"Hello, I'm Sam. I play the bass and keys, I'm the youngest Kiszka brother." He was the first to speak. His bare feet were on the table and he had the most carefree persona out of all of the boys in the room. 

"Freya." I said shyly. 

"I'm Danny, I play drums and I'm a Wagner, not a Kiszka. I'm fun nevertheless." He made eye contact with Sam and chuckled. 

"I'm Josh, I play the vocals, I'm the oldest Kiszka and your fake boyfriend." He grinned. 

"I'm Jake. I play guitar and I am also the oldest Kiszka." 

Josh and Jake started to bicker about who was actually the oldest, which had me in hysterics. 

"So what are you like, Freya?" Sam asked me from across the table. 

"Um, I like writing and painting and basically any art form. I watch a lot of 80's horror movies and I drink a lot of tea." I chuckled nervously. 

"We'll get along just fine then." Josh said, breaking away from his argument with Jake. 

"Alright, first order of business. What tour dates did you want to come to, Freya?"

"Do you guys have your list of dates?"

Danny slid me a piece of paper with all the tour dates and locations. 

"How about Colorado and New York?" I asked. 

"Our biggest shows, you ready for that?" 

"Just places I've always wanted to visit, so just trying to seize the opportunity!" I laughed. 

I wasn't sure why I was so nervous. They were all so kind and attentive. My eyes flicked over to Jake, who was mindlessly playing with a paperclip that was left on the table. Stop looking at Jake, you're dating Josh. Josh. 

"I get that. That's cool with me. How about you, Josh?"  Danny said. 

"Yeah that's perfect." 

"Then it's settled. Now let's go have some fun!" Sam cheered. 

"Are you boys thinking what I'm thinking?" Josh asked. 

"Cabin?" Sam answered. 

"Cabin." Josh confirmed. 

"Cabin?" I asked. 

"Just go pack an overnight bag. You won't be disappointed, I promise you, darling. It'll give us a chance to get to know each other before we go out and about, so that it's believable." Josh smiled at me. 

Josh had a charming air about him. He just seemed to be the kind of guy who always saw the good in people and that was something I hadn't been surrounded by in a long time. I hoped that he and I could be friends once our fake relationship was over. I wasn't sure it would happen though, especially since I was hoping for something more with Jake.
