"If they had met me a couple of years ago, they wouldn't have thought I was cool." He said, playing with his stitches.

    "What do you mean?"

"Oh, (y/n)-chan. Around three years ago was not a happy time for me."

He said these things thoughtfully, but not necessarily sadly. I simply nodded in understanding. "I can relate to that one. I was only recruited to be in CCG around two years ago, but before that? My whole life just seems like some kind of nightmare."

He giggled and nodded his head in agreement, pulling on the stitches that were attached to his lips. I wanted to kiss him, but still wasn't sure what he wanted from me, so I went to the family room and called the CCG officer who agreed to help me get Juuzou a prosthetic. I told him the measurements and he said he would do whatever he could to get Juuzou back on the fields again. As if I'll let that happen.

I checked on the critical condition room again. More people were beginning to wake up or be able to talk and move, which was very good, but another room full of men bored out of their minds was something I wasn't looking forward to. I made sure to avoid flirty boy and went to the girls' room to be met with some interesting questions. "(Y/n)! We heard that you cleaned Juuzou's wounds!"

"Um. Yes. I clean everyone's wounds."

"Oh (y/n)~ is he attractive~"

I choked on my own spit and the girls burst into giggles and blushes. "I'm not sure what you mean."

"You know what we mean~"

In truth, I did knew exactly what they meant. They wanted me to take part in flirty girl talk. But there was no way I was going to tell them anything about how Juuzou looked without clothes. I mean, I know these girls haven't seen any men in a hot minute, but fangirling over Juuzou? Come onnnnn.

"(Y/n), you have to give us something."

"It would be unprofessional, I mean, I've healed so many half naked men I don't even remember what Juuzou looks like without clothes."

Liar.

The girls were disappointed, so I cut them a deal. "Ladies, how would you feel if I asked some of the guys that are staying in the family room if they wanted company?"

Perfect.

Most of the girls were excited, with exceptions of a few uninterested girls who were either lesbian, tired, already had boyfriends, or simply didn't give a shit. I thanked those girls in my head. They were a lot easier to deal with.

I returned to the family room and talked to the men, who were very happy they were getting the chance to socialize with other people. I told them to put their shirts on and went to grab the girls, who were sprucing each other up. It was very cute to watch actually. The CCG was put in such a horrible and odd position, yet we were still trying to be social and loving towards one another.

Some of the girls were in wheelchairs, but most of them could walk by themselves or with crutches, so they went to the family room. I told the medic to come get me if things went wrong, but to be quite honest everyone seemed happy and chatty. It made think about how Juuzou was probably lonely, so my swooning ass went back to my room so I could see him again. (Haha s i m p)

I walked down the hall slowly. What do I say to him? I mean, we had a conversation and stuff, but everything was normal, and I didn't want it to be. I wanted him to be mine and I wanted to compliment him and kiss him whenever I felt like it. But how the hell was I supposed to know how he felt? He's Juuzou for gods sake! He's playful and unreadable all the damn time!
