It's Adam.

"Adam!" I say, clutching my chest, "You scared the hell {Chillax people, it's not that bad a word} out of me!"

"Sorry," he says, walking over to me, "but I couldn't find you. So I just decided to stay here and wait for you."

"Oh. I was exploring the compartment."

"Why?"

"Because I wanted to."

"Because you were bored."

"Yes."

"And because you didn't want to talk to me."

"No."

"Really?"

"I wasn't avoiding you."

"I think you were."

"Well, I wasn't."

"Sure."

"Why exactly would I be avoiding you?"

"Layla said something to you earlier... And then you looked really confused and worried. Then you avoided me."

"So? What does Layla talking to me have to do with anything? You don't even know what she said."

"I saw the look on your face, you looked pretty confused and worried. And you kept glancing at me."

"I was not glancing at you!"

"Yes you were!"

"I was not!"

"Whatever you say, Cynth."

"Shut up. Now, what do you want, Adam?" I ask, sitting on the bed. He sits next to me.

"I was bored too."

"Really? Or was there some deep psychological reason why you came here?"

"Shut up."

"Well, I'm just telling you what you were telling me."

"That doesn't mean that it's true in all cases."

"Really? I think it's true right now. For you, at least." I'm totally teasing him, but it looks like he's taking me seriously.

"Shut up, Cynth. I just think they should supply us with more entertainment."

"You're changing the subject."

"If you keep talking like that, I'm going back to my room."

"Like I said before, I'm just repeating what you said with my own little twist."

"That's it, I'm leaving."

"Bye!" I say, waving to him as he walks toward the door.

"Just kidding, I'm not leaving." he says, walking back over to me and sitting back down.

"See? It's a psychological reason."

"Okay, that's it, I'm leaving for good."

"Bye." I tell him again, and this time he actually leaves.
