The District Four girl is dead. I woke up just in time to watch the nightly dead tribute slideshow, and it was only her face in the sky tonight. I bet all my nonexistent money that she exploded. What a terrible way to die...

So, it's just District Five, District Seven, and us. And we no longer have that amazing cave to hide out in; we only have the protection of this tree.

After Adam caught me, I passed out. And then I woke up here, on the forest floor, completely out in the open. So I whisper-yelled at Adam for being such a dumbass, and urged him to take cover with me in a nearby tree. He said he wasn't the best at climbing, but after I reminded him that it was either this, or dying a painful death, he right behind me scaling the tree.

We could only go up about five stories, due to the fact that I was still weak and that Adam said he couldn't climb any farther. But mostly due to Adam. I could've climbed up another fifty feet.

But, I think it's good enough for now. We agreed to move somewhere else tomorrow just in case, seeing as we have huge targets on our heads.

After watching the District Four girl's face appear in the sky, Adam and I shared everything we remembered about the other two tributes. I remembered that District Five got a nine in training, and Adam remembered that District Seven got a ten. District Five likes spears, because I remember her trying to kill me with one at the Cornucopia. We just guessed that District Seven likes axes, because he's from District Seven.

Though we don't remember much about the remaining tributes, Adam and I agreed that they deserve to be in the final four. You can tell by just looking at their training scores.

"We'll have to be more careful now." I whisper, my eyes scanning the dark forest floor for any signs of movement.

"Really?" Adam whispers back sarcastically, "I thought we'd climb down to the ground and make a nice fire. And we could sing campfire songs, and invite the other tributes over to toast marshmallows."

"Shut up." I hiss, biting back laughter. "You take first watch, seeing as you're so eager to look for our 'friends'."

I hear Adam snicker. "Oh yeah. Very eager."
