"What are you waiting for? You said that you haven't eaten yet, right? Help yourself."

Don't get me wrong but I am not concerned, I am just curious.

Inuna ko muna ang sliced bread and put some bacons on it then folded the bread before I take a bite. Hmm... Heaven!

It would be better if there were berries but it's okay though, at least there's a watermelon. I took two slices of peaches and a big slice of watermelon. All the time, I kept glancing at His Highness that is only sitting across mine. He looked so amused while looking at me like I'm some kind of an interesting show.

Ugh. Sometimes, I really hate my nasty behaviors...

He chuckled after awhile, he must've seen how my actions changed for he was starting at me quite some time now.

"I never knew you can quickly eat your breakfast until now Yllana..." He said while his dark brown eyes smiling.

"Well it's breakfast so I had to eat it fast." I tried to joke and I mentally cringed at myself after I realized how those words managed to come out from my tiny mouth. But I stiffened when I heard his laughter boomed around the corners of his room.

Seriously? Hindi waley ang joke ko?

He even fell his head backwards while laughing genuinely. Okay, it's not funny anymore so I finished my meal and got back to my original position.

"Thank you for the meal, Your Highness. But please don't laugh longer anymore..." I reminded him. A royalty must have his or her poise and composure. Elegance is a must.

At that, he suddenly stopped laughing and his face came back to its original look again. Stoic and cold.

"Do not feel honored just because you saw me laugh in front of you. Just keep this to yourself when you get out of this room." He warned me while looking at me straight to the eye.

I must felt threatened but no, I felt pity for him. He still hides that personality of him ever since we were kids. Trying to act so cold to hide his weakness, vulnerability and emotions.

I've always known. Because we were once... best friends.

But instead of confronting and scolding him for being such an actor, I bowed my head slightly and said;

"As you wish Your Highness."

Although I remain motionless, I saw him shifted on his feet. Standing across me then picked up his dog who just finished eating, he glanced at my direction. Then immediately turning his back on me while holding his dog and walks towards his study.

"Close the door when you leave. And call the other maids to clean that mess quickly." Those were the last words he told me before shutting himself in his study.

No way! There is no way in hell that I'm gonna do what he wants me to.

But this world is full of magic. You wouldn't know what will come right at you, if one wrong move has been done.
