It was just after lunch time and the officers in the 21st district were headed back to their assigned tasks. Sgt. Platt received the news about Hailey when the team came back from the meet, she froze in shock and her heart sank as she heard it but she immediately got busy by giving out orders to patrol officers to check different neighborhoods in the surrounding area in hopes of finding Hailey, she knew it would be a long shot but she still wanted to try. As she gives out the order to the last pair of patrol officers, she looks at the main entrance of the district to find a person she thought she'd never see again in a long time, "Erin?"
Erin gave Sgt. Platt a small smile, "Hey Trudy," she says as she made her way to the front desk. Sgt. Platt walked out from behind her desk, towards Erin and gave her a hug, "I thought I'd never see you again," Sgt. Platt says as she starts to tear up, she immediately breaks off the hug when she notices Agent Spencer with her and realizes that the FBI was here with Erin. "We gotta head upstairs to help the team find Hailey," Erin gave Sgt. Platt an apologetic smile but as Sgt. Platt hears Hailey's name, she immediately says, "Let me buzz you up."
Once upstairs, Erin sees the team on their respective desks trying to find the whereabouts of their missing detective, Hailey. "Erin," Sgt. Voight says as he walks out of his office. "Hank," Erin says, greeting him with a nod as Agent Spencer walks up beside her and says, "Andre Walker went missing after the meeting in the food court. None of his associates has seen him, his house was untouched, and no one has seen him around his usual places."
Everyone's heart sank deeper than it already was, that was more bad news for the day but Vanessa had this determined look on her face and she can still be seen busily typing on her computer oblivious to what anyone was saying. As what she was looking for came up on her screen, her eyes grew bigger along with her hopes and she said without caring who was talking or what anyone was doing, "Sarge, I got something from a camera outside the mall."
