The next day, Hailey woke up to the sound of her buzzing phone on the table. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at her surroundings, she immediately realized where she was. Last night, she decided to stay over at Jay's place as she figured that he needed someone there and Jay agreed.
Hailey sat up from the couch, where she slept which Jay didn't really approve of but Hailey really insisted that it was okay. She stood up from the couch and she quickly realized that she was wearing Jay's shirt and boxer shorts. Last night, Jay insisted that she at least wear something more comfortable than her work clothes to sleep in and when she finally agreed, Jay let her choose what she wanted to wear and she chose a pair of boxer shorts and a plain shirt which looked a little big on her since Jay was a bit bigger than her.
Hailey's phone kept buzzing on the table so she picks it up and looks through it, there were a lot of worried messages from Vanessa but the last one says that they found a body behind an abandoned factory and an address came with the message. She placed her phone down and as she was about to tell Jay about it, the bedroom door opened and Jay came out looking like he was also awoken by the buzzing of his phone.
"Morning," Jay says with his eyes not fully opened, he raises his phone up and says, "we got a body," then he returned to his room. Hailey stood frozen after she saw Jay standing in the doorway, this was the first time she saw Jay without a shirt on. As Hailey stood frozen still thinking about the event that just took place, Jay walks out of his bedroom again, he had a shirt on now. Jay looks at Hailey and says, "You can use the bathroom first." Hailey nods as that was the only thing she could do while still processing what happened, she grabs her clothes and heads to the bathroom in the bedroom while Jay just looks at her weirdly as he started wonder why Hailey was acting weird all of the sudden but he shrugged it aside thinking that Hailey was just like that every morning.
