Worried

Hailey and Jay got through doing their paperwork despite having so much to think about and after everyone finished doing the task at hand, they headed home. Hailey and Vanessa were walking to the car but Hailey couldn't stop glancing at Jay, who was walking not far from them, she already knew the moment that Jay saw Erin in the restaurant that it would affect him but she didn't know up to what extend it would affect him which worried her so much. Hailey stops on her tracks and watches Jay as he got in his car, she couldn't read his face which scared her, she also didn't know if Jay would want to talk to her about it or if it's even the right move but she looked back at Vanessa who was patiently waiting by her car and she decided to go home.

Hailey and Vanessa were in the car, on their way home. Hailey was at the driver's seat, driving but she couldn't stop thinking and worrying about Jay, she just had this feeling about Jay that he needed her but she didn't know if he wanted to talk to her or not. After a while, they arrived at their place, Hailey parked the car in front of the house, but before she could turn the engine off Vanessa grabs ahold of her arm and says, "Go see him." Hailey immediately looks at her and says, "Vanessa I—," Hailey's sentence was cut short when Vanessa interrupts her and says, "Hailey, you're worried about him and will continue to be for the whole night which is going to affect the whole mood of the house. Plus, Lizzie and I are planning to watch a movie tonight," Vanessa says hoping it would get Hailey to see Jay. "What are you doing," Hailey asks Vanessa in a suspicious voice. Vanessa's eyes grew bigger as she says, "Nothing, I'm just worried that you'd worry too much." Hailey knew that Vanessa was right, even if this was her another attempt on whatever she and Lizzie have plan. She gave Vanessa a small smile and a thankful nod as Vanessa gets out of the car and excitedly went in the house where she would share the news with Lizzie.

As Vanessa enters the house she sees Lizzie by the window looking outside. Lizzie immediately turns to her as she sees Hailey's car drive away and asks, "Where's she going?" Vanessa smiles at her with a smile that Lizzie knows very well and she smiled back. Lizzie has had an awful day at school today but this news just made her the happiest girl on earth right now.

When Jay parked his car in front of his apartment, he just sat in his car for a while, not knowing how to react or what to do. After a few minutes, he decided to get out of the car and up to his apartment. As he entered his apartment, he mindlessly went directly to the fridge, opened it and took a few beers out then started drinking one while walking towards his couch. He thought he moved on from this since he went to therapy, he knew that therapy helped a lot but right now as he sits on his couch with a beer, all he could think of were all the memories about Erin and their past that he moved on from.

It all came rushing in with all the emotions he felt, he was reliving it all, the happiness, the sadness, the pain, the heartbreak. Before Jay could drown in his thoughts, he was interrupted with a knock on the door. He didn't really want any company right now so he just sat there hoping that whoever was at the door would just go away. Suddenly the knocking stopped, Jay thought that the person left but he just heard a worried voice through the door say, "Jay."
