I peek my head around the corner a little after 10.
Everyone just went home after an amazing dinner.
It felt nice to sit around the table with everyone again.
Everyone was laughing and...and having a good time.
I almost cried.
I miss my old life.
These past few months have been a living nightmare for me.
I never want to be alone again.
Quincy is staring up at the ceiling with baby Gia gurgling happily on his chest.
Apparently he hasn't seen her in a while so James agreed to let them stay over for tonight.
Ever since Gia turned 6 months, he's gotten very overprotective of both she and Ollie.
I think it's cute.
They spend a lot more time together now. Ever since James changed his schedule at work, he's been more relaxed as well.
Having had Ollie at the tender age of 17, he really had to grow up fast.
I'm just happy to see him a little more laid back.
I still can't believe that he's a family man, it feels like just yesterday we were playing in the sandbox behind our parents house.
"Hi, Quin."
I whisper, clearing my throat. He looks over slowly, his beautiful eyes sparkling.
"I never thought that babies were this adorable."
He whispers back, smiling down at her."Oh, baby. Your whole family is just the best. I just can't believe...."
He trails off as I walk in and sit down by his feet."I didn't think I was going go to ever get you back, I did a lot of thinking."
He mutters, sitting up slowly."Here, let me put her to sleep then we can cuddle, yes?"
I offer."That sounds perfect, lovie."
He whispers.I bite my lip.
He's so fragile right now and I don't know why.
He seemed pretty happy earlier.
About an hour later when I peek my head around the corner again, he's busy doing push ups in front of the bed.
He's so sexy.
He groans as I sit down on his back in the middle of a push up.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?"
He grumbles, rising up easily."Watching you work out. Gia and Ollie are asleep."
I say softly."Good. I wanted to show you something."
He lowers.
