{Tiara}

I'm cleaning up after a long day at the bakery on Monday when I hear the bell over the door jingle.

"Hi hi hi, baby!"

I roll my eyes, grabbing a towel as Quincy dramatically announces himself.

"Hey, sweetie. How was your first day at work?"
I turn.

He sends me 2 thumbs up.

I grin, admiring his uniform.

"Aww, sweetie you look so handsome."
I gush.

His cheeks turn a little red as he sets his work hat down in one of the booths.

"Thank you, thank you. Oh my God, it was so much fun! We got to check out empty lots and dig up holes and we went to Jason's Deli for lunch."
He starts to rant excitedly, pacing back and forth in front of the register.

"That sounds nice. Did you make any new friends?"

He stops and throws his hand sup in the air.

"Yes! Mack and Harvey and Nick and...."
He starts naming off names while I sit here and try not to laugh.

He's so adorable.

"You poor baby. You want some apple juice or something?"
I ask when he takes a deep breath.

He sits down with a smile.

"Yes ma'am."

"I want to take you out today to the fanciest restaurant you can think of."
He says as I hand him a glass of apple juice.

I sit down in front of him, raising an eyebrow.

"You talking 5 Seasons fancy or Middleweight fancy?"
I ask.

He thinks about it.

"Hmm. 5 Seasons, I suppose. Middleweight isn't all that, I've been told."
He shrugs.

"Ooh, I've never been there."
I mutter, pushing my hair out of my face.

He beams at me.

"Does that mean you'll pull out the sexy black dress?"

I roll my eyes as he starts wiggling his eyebrows.

"Yes."

"Oh, I cannot wait."
He groans, leaning back.

So wholesome.

"Hello, may I help you?"

"Yes, we're the 7:30 reservation? Quincy Vargas."

I clutch Quincy's arm as the hostess leads up through the elegant room.

It smells so wonderful in here.

"This is much fancier than my mom said. Wow, look at that chandelier."
Quincy wows, staring up for a moment.

I grin as he pulls out my chair for me.

"You're so romantic, honey."
I breath, watching him sit down in front of me.

He winks, picking up the menu.

"Oh wow. Baby, they have cinnamon apple sauce."
He breathes, turning it around.

I roll my eyes, frowning as my eyes scan over the entrees.

"Forget about prices, you order whatever you want."
He says before I can even open my mouth.

"What are you getting?"
I ask curiously.
