{Tiara}
I grumble to myself as I park my car, ready to take a nap after a long day at work.
The days are getting longer, not shorter.
I am so happy that I dont have to work again until next Monday.
I yawn as I grab my purse.
A couple days ago Quincy took me bowling.
It's a little weird to finally do things that we didn't get to do before.
I kind of miss our abnormal dates.
These are fun too, I don't mind having to teach him how to play tennis or bowl.
The little cheer he always does when he succeeds is definitely worth it.
We've been on 3 dates and at the end of each one, he walks me all the way up to my apartment and bids his farewell with a sweet kiss.
I'm happy.
For the first time in months, I haven't been absolutely dreading the next day.
I haven't seen him in a few days so I'm dropping by to check up on him.
He lost his expensive phone once again so I couldn't call.
My hands are shaky as I raise my fist to knock on the door.
All of that typing always leaves my hands shaky after work.
No answer.
I sigh as I jiggle the door knob.
It's unlocked.
The door hits something as I open it so I have to squeeze through.
It turns out that that something is someone.
"You've got to be kidding me."
I huff, setting down my purse and squatting down next to him.
"Quincy, get up."
I say sternly.
"What's the point?"
He says it so quietly that I almost miss it.
I'm too busy staring at the empty bottles of wine surrounding him.
He drank all of them?
Puck is sitting on the counter, patiently eating a walnut.
And he's covered in mud.
He must have left the back door open.
There is mud all over the place.
The trashed place.
My OCD kicks into overdrive.
I take a second to take a deep breath.
"Come on, sweetie. I'll help you to a proper bed. It must be very uncomfortable to sleep on the floor. Then you can tell me what's got you drinking and smelling horrible."
I say softly.
