"Today we're gonna be working on strengthening your quirks, your going to want do die.... Try not to though" Aizawa says, giving us his signature creepy grin.
"He looks almost normal when he smiles ribbit" Tsuku comments from my left, I have to put my hand over my mouth to stifle the giggle that would've erupted from me.
After passing out in a bed last night, I had no dreams I could recall which was odd, normally when I was stressed, I dreamed alot.
Put together my absence of dreams with three hours of sleep, I was pretty mentally worn out already, and it was 6 am.
"Go find your assignments designated to each of you, and yes, you can work together if you are both benefitting from today's training" Aizawa says, dismissing us as we dispersed into the training area that composed of a small hill, a clearing, and the seemingly endless forest.
I was too busy gazing into the tree branches to realize Uraraka was right next to me, beaming brightly. I turn my gaze to her, shielding my eyes from her perfectly white teeth.
"Jeez girl, your going to blind me" I say sarcastically, as I smile, moving my hand to casually scratch the back of my head.
"My teeth shine with the light of justice!" She squeals, playing along, shortly bursting into giggles afterwards.
"So what kind of training were you thinking of doing?" She asks me, playing with her hair in her hand.
"Honestly, I was going to ask the teachers here if they kept any live animals, I want to try a new um... Tactic.." I mutter, looking away slightly.
Honestly I was ashamed of my quirk, really ashamed, especially of how I practiced it, which was mainly on animals.
"What tactic is it?" She asks, bending down to pick up a little flower blooming in the ground. "You sure you want to know? I mean, it's kinda fucked up.." I mutter, watching the other kids begining their training, specifically a spiky blonde.
She paused, looking at me and taking a step closer, gently placing her hand on my shoulder. "Y/N, your my best friend, I promise whatever it is, I'll be proud of you and support you 100%" she says, looking me in the eyes.
As her words continue, I feel a sudden weight in my throat, a pressure, begging to be released. I recognize it as an outburst of crying and quickly push it away.
"So you know how, at the moment, all I can do is cause hallucinations, pain and make people crazy?" I say, getting a nod after every one of the options.
"Well, I was thinking, what if I made someone go to the brink of insanity, enough to bend their will, and control them? No seriously, think about it. They would be so lost in their own fear and dread, that even the slimmest chance of getting back to normal would be enough. Just enough to make them obey my every command in the name of their "sanity"." I say, finally finishing my idea.
After a few seconds of thinking it over, she nods slowly. "I think that actually could work" she says, smiling again. "Wow, I didn't take you for a genius" she says, giggling.
I roll my eyes sarcastically as I make my way to one of the Pussycats. "Hello, this is kind of an odd question but um, do you have any live animals? It's for my training" I say, trying and failing to not stutter.
"Sure, we just got a few bunnies from the traps this morning, how many do you need?" She asks, walking over to a pile of live traps with various creatures in them. "Two please, thank you" I reply, watching her take a bunny out of a trap.
Watching her hold, I take the bunny from her arms and hold it the same way, calling Uraraka over to hold her bunny. We begin to walk into the forest to another nearby clearing.
