"Find anything?" I asked John B as he climbed back up onto the boat. None of us have ever been scuba diving before and John B took the lead and said he'd do it. We were all risking our lives for this damn 400 million dollars in gold.
"Did I find anything?" John B joked and hauled up a bag.
"Yes!" I smiled grabbing it and threw it to the ground.
"I ran out of air fuck." JB said tiredly was he sat on the boat.
"Yeah sorry. The police were here but uh we got rid of them." Pope said.
"Guys." Kiara said getting everyone's attention. "Recognize that boat?" She asked. A speed boat was coming towards us slowly.
"Let's go. They can't find the wreck." I said to the group.
"JJ get the anchor." JB said as we all watched the other boat.
"Maybe their out here fishing?" Pope asked.
"Definitely not." I scoffed.
"The marsh is closed anyways what are they doing out here?" He said again confused.
"Same thing we're out here for probably." I said flatly.
"JB go. Their gaining on us." Kiara sis quickly.
"JJ hurry up." Pope said.
"Don't wait for me! Go!" He said pulling up the lay bit of the anchor.
"Act natural." John B said as he drove the boat into the marsh.
"Go further in." I whispered to him so we could get away from the other boat. They were giving us all a bad vibe.
John B sped the boat up as we raced through the marsh. A gun shot broke the sound of the water.
"Holy shit!" Kiara yelled and we al got down.
"John B get down!" JJ yelled to his best friend. I let out a scared whimper.
"Shh it's alright. I got you." JJ mumbled as he moved over to me. He placed me under him and protected me from the gun shots. We heard another one making John B get down and JJ grip tightened on me.
"Kiara get down." Pope said. I was to afraid to open my eyes so I didn't know what she was doing. I moved as close as I could to JJ and gripped his shirt. He held my waist with one hand and my head with the other. He gave me reassuring words the whole time.
One last gun shot rang out and I felt the boat slow down.
"Yes! We did it!" Kiara said happily. JJ moves off of me and helped me stand up. I noticed the fishing net was gone. I looked back and saw that it was lodged into the other peoples boat motor.
"Holy shit!" I exclaimed and Hugh fives Kie.
"Let's get back to that chateau. I wanna see what's inside the bag." JJ said and rubbed his hands together. I chuckled at his enthusiasm.
Kiara moved to sit with me on the bow of the boat while the boys hung in the back. John B of course driving us back home.
"So JJ..." Kira trialed off. I looked at her quizzically.
"What?" I asked.
"He seemed very worried about you just now." She said giving me a look.
"He was scared Kie. We all were." I told her trying to deny any thoughts she had.
"So your telling me you didn't like him touching you?" She asked with a smirk. I turned my head quickly at her.
"I didn't say that." I mumbled and looked back ahead of me. I heard her laugh.

"Home sweet home." John B said as we pulled up to the chateau. I stood up quickly and hopped off.
"I'm gonna get some water you guys want anything?" I asked them before we opened up this random bag.
"Beers please." JJ said loudly. I gave him a thumbs up and walked inside.

JJ pov
I watched her walk inside. Her strawberry blond hair swayed in the wind and looked even more beautiful with the sun set hitting it. She looked more beautiful every day that went by.
"JJ really dude." Pope sighed. I turned my attention to my friends who all stared at me.
"What?" I asked.
"JJ you're not being subtle about your crush on y/n." John B laughed.
"What? No! I don't have a crush on her." I denied quickly.
"Sure you don't. Just go help her in there. And while your at it, maybe grow some balls and ask her out finally? Hmm?" John B snickered at me. I rolled my eyes and left them.
"Y/n you need help?" I called to her as I walked inside.
"Oh hey, yes, grab those two." She said pointing to two beers. I grabbed them but stopped.
"Y/n wait." I said quickly. She turned around and faced me before she would get out of the house.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"Uhh I need to tell you something." I stated and placed the beers back down.
"Ok well what is it?" She asked with a smile. She took a couple steps closer to me.
"I'm not very good with my emotions as you know." I started to say but she stopped me. She raised her hand to halt any more words that came out of my mouth.
"I don't like waiting JJ what is going on?" She asked but seemed to start getting worried. I rubbed my palms on my shorts.
"I like you." I said before I could think. "I like you and want to be more then just friends." I said and squeezed my hands together and then let them go. Her mouth fell open and she gasped. Her hands seemed to shake a little bit and she placed the bottles down that she was holding.
"Y-you?" She seemed stuck on her words. I nodded a yes.
"Yeah. I have for a while and I didn't say anything because I was afraid you didn't see me like th-." I was talking but she came home and kissed my lips. It wasn't the best kiss since I was miss word but fixed it and deepened the kiss. Now this was the best kiss I've ever had.
"Woah." I said lowly as we pulled apart. Her hands cupped my face and my hands were on her waist.
"Wanna do that again?" She smiled at me. I quickly nodded and dove back in.
"What is- oh! Guys look! Yes finally!" John B said storming inside the house. I got scared fork his outburst and pulled away from her. She was blushing profusely.
"Awe you guys!" Kiara gushed and hugged y/n.
"So you guys are dating?" Pope asked pointing between y/n and I. She looked at me and then back to Pope.
"I mean he never asked me." She trialed off and looked back to me. I let out a chuckle and stepped closer to her.
"Y/n will you please be my girlfriend?" I asked grabbed her hand.
"Of course I will." She said happily and kissed my cheek as she bounced on her heels.
