"That will be two dollars" I say as the costumer passes me a five dollar bill, I give her three dollars back and put her things in a bag

"Have a good day" I said as the lady left

It's now Monday afternoon and I'm working at the store, so it's been exactly three days since the soccer game where me and Mattia had argued, but who's counting? it's also been three days since I last talked to mattia, I'm back to my boring, miserable life. Mattia hasn't texted me and I'm too afraid to text him, I miss him more than I want to admit, my life isn't ass fun anymore and I realized that now that I don't have Mattia by my side. Me and luca haven't talk either but I don't care, it didn't effect me the same as me and Mattia not talking

Mattias pov

"Come on stop being a pussy" kairi said

"I'm not going" I say

"Fine then you can stay and I'll just go with Alejandro" kairi said

"Can Alejandro stay ? I don't want to be alone plus I'm sure your not going to take long and your not going to need Alejandro" I explained

"Fine" kairi rolled his eyes and left out the room

Kairi was going to the corner store and the reason I didn't want to go was because I knew elena would be there, I'm not ready to face her, yes I miss her company but she chose to defend luca instead of me and I'm not going to kiss her ass, if she wants to be with luca she can keep him. I hate that elena has an effect on me that no other girls has, I'm genuinely a better me when I'm with her

"You know your going to eventually have to talk to elena ?" Alejandro said as he snapped me out of my thoughts

"I know but today is not the day" I say

I sat there fidgeting with my fingers when I hear the bell ring from the door, I look up and see kairi, my lips quickly curled up into a smile

"Hey kairi" I say

"Hey elena, how have you been" he said as he walked up to the counter

"Uh well good I guess" I let out a small chuckle, yea I lied but how am I going to tell him I'm doing horrible because his bestfriend isn't talking to me anymore "how have you been" I ask

"Good" he answered "do you have those bang drinks ?" He asked

When kairi walked through the door I really wished Mattia was going to appear right behind him

"Yeah there over here" I said as I walked to the back we're the drinks were at "right there by the wall" I say as I point at them

"Thanks" he said before I walked back to the counter

When kairi was done picking his things he wanted, he came back to the counter with three bang drinks and a big bag of chips

"Thats too many energy drinks for you" I laughed

"Oh there all not just for me, there also for Alejandro and...Mattia" kairi said

I can tell kairi was nervous to bring up Mattias name

"Nice, you guys hanging out right now ?" I asked

"Yeah, were all at Mattias house" he responded

"Cool" was all that came out my mouth

"Just so you, know me and you are still cool, even though you and Mattia aren't" kairi said and I nodded

I typed in the prices of the things on the cashier

"It must be cool working at a corner store, you can always get snacks when you hang out with friends, even when the store is closed" kairi said and I laughed

"I don't know who you think I am but I don't have 'friends' maybe a friend but never more than one, people are too fake to be my friends" I say

"It really be like that, but What about luca ?" Kairi asked

"Well he's changed so" I shrug my shoulders "that will be seven dollars and ninety-six cents" I say

Kairi gave me a ten dollar bill and I gave him his change

"Bye" kairi said before leaving while I gave him a wave

Mattia pov

"What took you so long" I groan as kairi walked in my room

"Nothing" he said as he passed me and Alejandro a drink

"How was elena?" I shyly ask

"If you want to know so bad why don't you go to the store to see yourself" kairi rolled his eyes

"I'm not going" I said rapidity

"Okay then don't ask me 'how was elena' if your not going to see yourself " kairi said as he mimicked me

"Fine...I was just wondering anyways, not like I cared" I said

I do care, a lot. It will break my heart if I knew that elena was doing way better without me

"Can you guys stop arguing" Alejandro finally said "I came here to chill not hear you guys argue"

"Your right" kairi said

"Let's hop on call of duty?" I asked and they all nodded

"You're home, finally" my mom said

"Did you need something?" I said

"Yes, the tv controller isn't working" my mom says

"It probably needs new batteries" I said

I grabbed the controller and went to the drawer and got some battery's out

"There, it should work now" I said as I gave my mom the controller back

"Thanks" she said, I was going to walk upstairs to my room but my mom stopped me "hey honey" she said

"Yeah?" I responded

"Why hasn't luca came over" she asked "he always comes over on the weekends"

"I don't know" I said "I guess we're finally growing apart, he has new friends and well I'm me" I say

"Well you guys are getting older now" my mom said "gosh I really liked luca"

"I know, I'll get new friends I bet" I said and my mom agreed

I went to my room and flopped on my bed, fuck I miss Mattia, he made me excited to live the boring life I have. He makes everything exiting, like sneaking out, going to party's, talking, everything. I knew that the secret of me and him sleeping together was going to get out one way or the other but I just wish it didn't come out this way and I wish Mattia wasn't the one who exposed us. I have no one to talk to about my feelings, Luca isn't talking to me no more and my mom hates Mattia with a passion, if she found out me and Mattia even inhale the same air she would flip

I got out of my thoughts and went to the bathroom, I stoped at the mirror and noticed a small tear falling down my check, I quickly wiped it off and brushed my teeth
