Joey's pov-
I woke up to Lakira stretching on the left side of the bed. She stood up and walked out of the room, not noticing that I was awake. I could hear the baby crying and Lakira singing to him. Once I stretched, I got up and walked towards them.

Joey: Lakira?
Lakira: Shhh. I just got him back down. I'm gonna shower and get ready. Could you prepare their breakfast please
Joey: Umm sure, yeah.

She gave me a smile before putting La'kir back in his crib and walking to our bathroom. I stood there confused to why she still slept next to me after I blew up on her for no reason yesterday. I prepared the kids' breakfast before walking into the bathroom. Lakira was on her knees throwing up.

Lakira: Ugh! Fuck!
Joey: You dome?
Lakira: What?
Joey: Puking. Are you done?
Lakira: Are you kidding me? No no get out. Please just get out before I do something I'm gonna regret.
Joey: Whatever. There's other bathrooms in this house I paid for.

I scoffed and started walking away.

Lakira: I pay for it now you jackass!

I went to the dresser and grabbed sweatpants and boxers, then went upstairs to the guest bathroom. There I showered until I knew Lakira wasn't in our bathroom. I walked down the stairs, passing the kitchen. Lakira was feeding La'kir whole Joanne ate her breakfast. It was like every morning except, Lakira wasn't smiling. She wasn't joking around with kids.

Joanne: Where's daddy?
Lakira: He was showering upstairs baby
Joanne: Why?
Lakira: Because I was using our bathroom
Joanne: Why could he be in there at the same time as you?
Lakira: Eat your breakfast baby

She almost started crying. Half of me felt so bad, but the other half was just... I can't explain it. Why did I say that to her? I felt so numb and guilty at the same time. I walked into our bathroom and brushed my teeth, not being able to look at myself in the mirror. I walked back slowly towards the kitchen.

Lakira: So umm you know you're gonna be going to public school right?
Joanne: Yeah! I'm excited
Lakira: Good good. Well how would you feel about going to public school and moving to a different house?
Joanne: Why do we have to move?
Lakira: Well we'd be closer to the school and Granny Jen. And Nana. And you could play with the kids in the neighborhood
Joanne: I like the sound of that
Lakira: I'm glad you do. I haven't told your daddy yet but—
Joey: You wanna move? Out of this house?
Joanne: Wellll I think I'll go play with my bears now. Thank you mommy. Good morning daddy.

She got up and left the table.

Lakira: It's just an idea.
Joey: Oh my gosh
Lakira: Think about it babe
Joey: I bought this house for us after we graduated. We've lived here for years. Joanne has grown up here!
Lakira: She's 6!
Joey: Still! Why would you want to leave this place!
Lakira: I think this will be good for us. We'll have more room for all the babies and everything. We'll be closer to our mothers and the school. Joey.. please consider this
Joey: You know what? Just leave me alone
Lakira: Jojo

She tried to hug me, but I moved away. I started walking towards the bedroom.

Lakira: Joey.

I was just so angry. I couldn't hold it in. I yelled and punched a hole in the wall.

Lakira: Joey! What the hell?!

La'kir started crying. I just couldn't hold it in. I cried and cried until I couldn't breathe. I was on the ground with Lakira standing over me. The last thing I could remember was the overwhelming anger at God knows what.
