Lakira's pov-
It was after hours in the office, so I had Kara come by and help set up. She had a whole party box full of baby related things.

Lakira: When did you get all this?
Kara: I've had this stuff saved since La'kir dude.
Lakira: Why?
Kara: I had a feeling La'kir wasn't gonna be the last.
Lakira: Fair enough.

She put all the snacks and the cake on the table and placed the "present" for Joey on my desk. Once egg thing looked okay, I texted everyone to come by the office.

Kara: Do you think this will work out?
Lakira: Yeah. I do.
Kara:Well just in case Joey doesn't understand, I bought this.

She handed me a card that had the words "Guess What" on it.

Lakira: What is this?
Kara: open it

I opened the card to see a poem.

Lakira: "Roses are red. Violets are blue. You wanna have a baby? How bout two?" Kara, what the hell is this?

I laughed at her, closing the card.

Kara: It's a good idea
Lakira: True. Alright I'll put it under the box.
Kara: Aaron just texted, they're downstairs.
Lakira: Booty call huh?
Kara:What?
Lakira: Nothing. Umm perfect. Send 'em up

I walked over to my desk and waited for everyone to get up here. After a minute, the elevator dinged. Aaron, my mom, Joey, and the kids walked in.

Lakira: Hey!! Can you guys stand right there?

They looked confused, but initially stood where I told them. Jen, Bella, Kashius, and Sophia all walked out of the elevator.

Kara: Hey! Stand over there with everyone else please
Jen: Why?
Kara: Lakira and I have a surprise
Bella: You're lesbians! I knew it.

She started jumping up and down clapping and smiling.

Bella: Sorry Joey.
Lakira: No Bella. We aren't lesbians
Bella:Aww. Then what's up?
Kara:Well we have a present for Joey. Joey would you come sit here please?
Joey: Sure?
Liberty: Whats this about?

Kara picked up the present and handed it to Joey.

Joey: It's not my birthday is it?
Lakira:No
Joey: Oh God. Is it our anniversary?
Lakira: No it's not. Just open it.

He seemed hesitant, but he opened the present slowly, unwrapping the bow and then opening the box. Once the lid was off, he chuckled.

Joey: Four pregnancy tests. All positive. You're- We're pregnant. Oh my God! Babe we're pregnant!
Lakira: Yes! I know! I took the tests
Sophia: Oh my gosh!
Aaron: Another Baby!
Kara: Actually... here

She handed him the card.

Joey: "Roses are red. Violets are blue. Wanna have a baby? How bout two?" Wait... two babies?
Jen: As in twins?
Lakira: I think so. We won't know for a bit, but...

He moved the box aside and stood up to hug me.

Joey: I love you so much
Lakira: I love you too. Did you hear Joanne? You're gonna have new siblings!
Joanne: I hope they're girls!
Lakira: Maybe they will be.
Kara: Well we also have a cake and snacks in case you guys were hungry
Aaron: "You're gonna be a dad...again" wow whoever decorated this cake is really talented.
Lakira: He is. I'm glad we were able to do this.

For the rest of the night, we all talked and played a couple games before leaving. Joanne was exhausted, so I got her ready for bed quickly while Joey took care of La'kir. Once the kids were asleep, Joey and I got ready for bed. As soon as Joey laid down, he passed out. I smiled and stroked his cheek.
