Lakira's pov-
Ever since the gender reveal party, Joey has been freaking out. We just moved into the new house and he's been unpacking like crazy. I swear he doesn't sleep.

Lakira: Babe? Are you okay?
Joey: What? I'm fine. But we need to go to the baby store
Lakira: Why?
Joey: I'm planning on giving the twins a princess room
Lakira: Why?
Joey: They're my princesses
Lakira: What about Joanne
Joey: Also my princess
Lakira: What if they're  not into princesses
Joey: We'll cross that bridge when we get there
Lakira: Alright. We can go

He grabbed his keys and we all went to the baby store. He went through all the rows of strollers and cribs and toys. He inspected literally every pacifier.

Lakira:Why are you so...weird
Joey: I just want the best for the babies
Lakira: How about I take care of you babe
Joey: I got this
Lakira: Go to Subway. I'll take care of it
Joey: But babe I can—
Lakira: Boy if you don't go to subway
Joey: Okay okay...
Lakira: I'll text you when to pick me up

He left with Joanne and La'kir. I finally had a piece of mind and could finally buy things without Joey breathing down my neck.

Joey's pov-
I drove me and the kids to subway and got us some sandwiches and cookies.

Joanne: Daddy you're crazy
Joey: How so Apple?
Joanne: Have you seen yourself lately? You're going bananas on those boxes
Joey: Just practicing for when you get married and love with your husband
Joanne: Ew boys are gross. I don't want a husband
Joey: Well that's okay if you don't want to marry anyone
Joanne: Well I do wanna marry someone
Joey: Oh who?
Joanne: Beyoncé. Mommy listens to her a lot and she's pretty
Joey: I like Beyoncé too. But you can't marry her. She's married to Jay-Z
Joanne: Well then how about that lady at the counter. She's also pretty
Joey: Wait. Do you wanna marry a girl?
Joanne: Is that bad?
Joey: No, no baby. It's good. Be yourself
Joanne: You're a hippo pit
Joey: Are you trying to say hypocrite?
Joanne: Yes I am
Joey: Why?
Joanne: You haven't been yourself since the party. I miss the old daddy. Where did he go?
Joey:  I'm honestly scared, Apple. I don't want to mess up these babies
Joanne: Mommy says that if you're ever scared then take a deep breath and imagine ice cream
Joey: That's actually not bad. Thanks Apple
Joanne: No problem. Now can I have a cookie?
Joey: Sure

We finished eating a picked up Lakira.

Lakira: Everything should be delivered tomorrow
Joey: I can put everything together. Don't sweat it
Lakira: That's good. I'm exhausted
Joey: I am too

I haven't slept right in a month so tonight was the first night of a good night's rest. Normally I wouldn't take advice form a 6 year old, but sometimes she smarter than me. My fears are no more
