Chapter 69: dont leave me here

Jane's pov
Jeff took me to the nurse's office.
"How can I help you?", the nurse asked.
"My girlfriend almost jumped out of a second floor window.", he said.
The nurse turned to look at me.
"Are you suicidal?", the nurse asked.
"No. I was following a friend. We were playing tag.", I said.
"A friend that has been dead for years.", Jeff said.
The nurse nodded then went over to me and checked for any broken bones.
"Well, nothing is broken.", the nurse said.
She put her hand on my shoulder.
"Now, how long has you been seeing your dead friend?", she asked.
"Two days.", I said.
The nurse went to the phone.
"What's your parent's phone number?", she asked.
Jeff went over to the phone and dialed Slender's cell phone number.
"Slender, you need to talk to her.", he said.
"What happened?", slender asked.
"She says she was following Sally and almost jumped out a second floor window.", Jeff said.
"I'll be there soon to go get her.", slender said.
A few minutes later
Slender came and took Jeff and me out of school. He drove to the hospital.
"Why are we here?", I asked.
"We can't have you making a scene while the council is looking for us.", slender said.
"I'm fine.", I said.
We walked into the hospital. Slender told them why we were there. They put me into a padded room. Jeff came into the room with me.
"Jeff, I'm not crazy.", I said.
"Jane, you almost killed yourself following someone was dead for years.", he said.
"I'm still alive. Aren't I?", I said.
"Yes.", he said.
"I'm not crazy. I'm not like you.", I said.
"Not like me?", he asked.
"Yes. You're crazy.", I said.
"You're as crazy as me. Do you know who you are married to?", he said.
"I'm know who I'm married to but I'm not as crazy as you.", I said.
Jeff walked out the door.
"Don't leave me in here!", I yelled.
Jeff locked the door and left.
"Don't leave me in here! Jeff! Please don't leave me alone!", I yelled.
