A/N

I'm so sorry for going AWOL for such a long time. I had a terrible writer's block and couldn't type anything no matter how hard I tried. But I'm back now and still updating every Sunday.
This chapter is particularly very very long,to make up for my absence of course. It's like three chapters combined.
Please don't forget to rate and comment.
Thanks.
Happy reading...

Gazing at the unfamiliar streets and building, Kevin couldn't help but let out a sigh for the umpteenth time.
Anxiety wouldn't stop gnawing at him, neither would fear.
Fear of losing the woman he loves.
Fear of not arriving in time to save her.

Kevin shut his eyes, resting his head against the window, willing such negative thoughts away.
Thinking of such things would in no way help the situation..
All it would do was increase his fear and anxiety.
And feeling anxious in such situation did nothing but cloud the mind, preventing one from keeping their head above waters and thinking straight.
Kevin didn't want that.
He wanted a clear mind so that he wouldn't miss anything.
The tiniest of details could go far in helping him find Virginia.

Lifting his head, he glared daggers at the driver who wouldn't stop singing and whistling between intervals.
It was annoying the f*ck out of him.
"Could you just please tone the singing down and drive faster?" He forced himself to say as calmly as he could muster, suppressing the urge to break his nose.

If annoying had a face, this man would be the perfect candidate.

Without a word, David did as told and stepped on the accelerator, increasing his speed.

Brandon stood in front of the mirror, admiring himself.
He did look very handsome. More like a prince charming getting ready for his first ever dance with his bride-to-be.
He grinned, running a hand through his hair, ruffling it to give it the messy look.
Dropping his hand to his sides, he spotted a cologne on the dresser. Wasting no time, he grabbed it and sprayed.
"Hmm" he mused, eyeing the bottle in his hand, checking out the brand.
"This smells heavenly. I should get one for myself" he muttered putting it down just as the door rattled slightly with a knock.

"Come in" he mumbled, pocketing both hands.
The door creaked slightly as it opened to reveal Ivy dressed in an immaculate Royal blue sleeveless gown that hugged her waist and flowed downwards, a long side parting that extended from the hem of the gown and stopped midthigh.
"Hmm" he mused.
For someone who barely knew him, probably for not more than two hours,
She really was dressed for the occasion.

"Hey" Ivy muttered with a small wave, stopping a few feet away from Brandon.
"Hi" he replied.

"I just came to tell you that everything is ready except we need to get you a marriage license first, especially since you both are foreigners."

"Oh?" Brandon cocked his head to one side,a curious expression overtaking his features
"And how do we go about that?"

"Well we'll need a few documents. Like an Identity card, document of singleness, passport, birth certificate and well, every other document that's important in such cases. If you have that, we can go to the marriage registry right away"

Brandon bit his lip, thinking
"Well that won't be a problem, but do you think we'd manage to get the license today? My fiancee and I are both foreigners and we practically know no one here"

"You don't have to worry about that. Becky explained everything to me beforehand. I know someone who can get us the license. He kind of owes me a favour so..." Ivy trailed off, the rest of her words hanging in the air for him to grasp.

Hmm, what kind of favor could whoever that guy was, be owing Ivy?
He wondered.
Oh well, he shrugged.
He couldn't careless so far as it was working in his favor.
