I was devastated.

Completely and utterly destroyed.

After the ambulance came to collect Pinto, I ran out to my car. I cried as I put the key in, turning it on.

I cried the entire way back to the penthouse.

I wasn't going to stay there.

I couldn't.

Not after tonight. Not after what Mattia had done and said.

I couldn't be around him for too long.

I planned on getting my stuff and going to stay at my dad's.

He could have the house. I didn't want to live there anymore knowing that he had been there. Knowing that we had fucked there.

I got to the apartment building, hoping that Mattia hadn't made it home yet and that I could just grab my stuff before he came back.

Luckily, he wasn't there when I got home.

I ran to my room, grabbing my luggage from my closet, filling the suitcase with my clothes. I took anything that was essential to me, leaving all the replaceable stuff.

I didn't want to risk being there when he got home so I left quickly.

I got in my car, driving to my dad's Mansion.

I would have to stay there until I was ready to move out again.
