Just a reminder that Mattia never specified what he did for work. He told Kairi that he did jobs here and there, but was vague about it... 🙂

Mattia

I stepped out of my Jeep, locking the doors behind me. I fixed my hair in the window, then walked up to the door.

Opening it, I'm immediately hit with the smell of weed and alchohol.

I walked to the back of the building, entering the small dirty room. It was dark and dim, with a small round table in the middle. My boss sat at the table counting money.

"Oh, finally you're here. I've got a job for you!" He exclaimed as I walked into the room. He put down the stack of money and reached under the table grabbing a pouch. He tossed it to me, going back to counting the money.

I peered inside, seeing little baggies of cocaine. He wanted me to sell again.

"Well, what are you waiting? The bell to dismiss you? Get to it already!" He says waving me off. I roll my eyes, walking out of the room and out of the building.

I get into my car, sighing. How the hell was I supposed to sell this much product?

A party maybe?

I didn't feel like going to a party, especially alone.

Ale and I haven't been talking since that night we made out. I mean, I've been calling him but he hasn't been answering.

I was mad at myself for ruining yet another relationship in my life.

I had like two friends and I chased them away....

I also wanted to talk to him and clear the air about the kiss. Kisses, actually.

I felt terrible. I'm in love with Kairi, but I kissed Alejandro. I wanted to apologize for making him do that.

I'm a hypocrite.

I got mad at Kai for kissing someone behind my back, yet here I am having a full makeout session a couple days later.

Smh.

Maybe a party wouldn't be too bad right now, it would help take my mind off of things.

I stepped into the house, being swarmed by sweaty bodies. I didn't know who's house this was. I didn't know the people here either. I had just seen someone post the address on their story and decided to come and try to sell.

I walked in, going straight for the drinks. I decided to have some fun before actually doing what I came here to do. I grabbed a bottle of Vodka, chugging it straight up. I kept doing that until I felt tipsy. I went out to the dancefloor, girls immediately starting to grind on me.

Don't get me wrong, it was enjoyable. But I couldn't help but think of Kairi. How would he look grinding his ass on me? I groaned, as the thought entered my mind. This was wrong. I pushed the girls off of me and began walking off, not paying attention to how the people around me were rubbing against me trying to seduce me.

I stopped walking, looking around for the drug corner. You know that specific spot at a party where all the drugs are being passed around? Ya, I went there.  A joint was being passed around. I smiled, taking a hit once it came to me. I let the smoke consume my lungs before blowing it out through my nose. We continued smoking, not really talking but just vibing.

I felt the best I had in days.

"Hey, are any of yall tryna buy some coke?" I slurred. I was gone.

The people I was with just laughed. I took out the baggies, tossing them on the table. They lunged at it, almost immediately.

Suddenly, I had to pee. I stood up abruptly.
"I'll be back." I say, not receiving an answer. I shrug, going off to find a bathroom.

I got lost on my way to the bathroom. After all, I had never been to this house. It took a good five minutes to situate myself.

After peeing, I left the bathroom going back downstairs. That's when I realized that I didn't know where I had left the coke.

Fuck.

Shit...

I'm screwed.

I looked around frantically in search of the group that I was with. But they were nowhere to be found.

"And that's how I lost the product."

I looked up, staring my boss dead in the eyes. He was pissed.

Oops.

"How can you be so fucking stupid! You always make the customer pay before you give them the drugs!" He shouts angrily.

"I-"

"No, you know what. This is your mess. You'll be fixing it. For the loss of this product you're going to have to pay me back. All $5000."

When I say my eyes popped out of my skull. How was I supposed to get $5000?

"Boss, let me make it up to you. I just don't have that much money right now." I say.

He should know. He's the fucker that pays me.

"You should've thought of that when you were handing out coke like it was free. Now get out of my sight." He dismisses.

Crap. How am I gonna pay him back?
