I stood there glaring at Vince.

He had the motherfucking audacity to come to my birthday party acting as if he didn't do what he did.

"He what?"

Crap. I forgot how protective Mattia is.

Yep, another fight is gonna break out if I don't stop this asap.

"Mattia go get security." I said quickly trying to get him as far away from Vince as I could.

Not that I was worried that he'd hurt Vince. No, I was worried that he'd be the one to get hurt. Vince was very... skilled when it came to fighting.

Maybe it was the fact that he used to box, or maybe its because he made me his personal punching bag for a whole 3 months.

Either way, he wouldn't hesitate to break some of Mattia's bones and I wasn't here for that.

"No, repeat what you just said so that I know I won't be committing murder for no reason." Mattia grits. He steps forward, closer to Vince but I quickly pull him back.

"Don't, Matt. Please just go get security. Please." I whisper to him, rubbing circles on his hand. He looks down at me, his eyes softening.

"I'm not leaving you alone with him." He says eyeing Vince in utter disgust and pure anger. After a brief pause, Mattia speaks up again.

"C'mon, let's go outside."

He says gesturing for Vince to follow him. He didn't give the other a chance to respond as he was already dragging him out of the door.

My eyes widened, realizing what was happening as I followed, jogging to keep up with them. Mattia brought Vince out to the backyard. Thankfully no one was there.

Mattia grabbed Vince by his collar, pushing him against the railing of the patio. "Damn, Kai. He's almost as aggressive as me. I'm sure he's been fucking you good. Too bad, I'll be better."

Oof, big mistake.

Mattia drew his hand back, punching Vince square in the face.

He continued this action until there was blood spilling out of the corner of his mouth and his eye was blue and swollen.

"You call that a punch? Even Kairi hit harder when he tried to fight back while I was hitting him." Vince teased, spitting the blood from his mouth to the side.

Mattia became fully angry and began choking Vince. And not in the good way...

"I'm gonna kill you." Mattia shouted as he squeezed onto Vince's neck tightly. He was actually going to kill him.

"Matt, stop!" But he didn't listen.

"If you kill him, you got to jail and he wins because I lose you. Please stop!" I shout as loud as I could.

I could see Mattia hesitate before releasing his grip on Vince's neck letting him fall to the floor gasping for air.

"Go get security. He needs to go." He says panting as he looks down at Vince who was slumped onto the floor. I nod, going to get someone that could help.

I see my dad and decide to tell him about everything. Of course he got super mad and became all extra calling the police to have them remove Vince and arrest him.

My dad never liked Vince while we dated and he sure as hell despised him when he found out what he had been doing to me.

The three of us waited outside for the police to show up. Vince was sitting on the floor, my dad and Mattia watching guard over him.

When they arrived, they put Vince in cuffs. He stood up passing by me as they brought him to the police car. He smirked at me, stepping closer causing me to flinch back into Mattia's arms. My reaction made Vince smile.

"Glad to see I still have an affect on you, baby." He says before being put into the car. I roll my eyes, turning to bury myself in Mattia's chest.

This is exactly why I hate my birthday. Some fucked up shit always happens.
