Mattia and I were having a date night.

He was being hella secretive about it, but he's always been a little sus so I didn't question it.

I got dressed into a navy blue button down and some black suit pants. I accessorized with my Gucci belt and shoes and combed through my hair making it look nicer.

"Bebe, come on our reservation is at 7!" Mattia shouts from the living room. I roll my eyes.

Since when is he punctual?

I grab my phone and make my way to the foyer. "Ok you took really long to get ready, but it was most definitely worth the wait."

He bends down to place a kiss on my lips.
"You look beautiful, bubs." He smiles eyeing me up and down. I blushed, saying a quick thank you.

Yes, he still manages to get me flustered seven months into our relationship.

We held hands as we went down to the garage, getting into the Range. I told Mattia to get rid of his Jeep and I'll buy him a new car, but he refuses to let me spoil him.

Kinda makes me sad cause I've got all this money to spend, but nothing to buy.

We arrived at the restaurant, going in waiting to be served.

"Reservations for Polibio." Mattia tells the lady at the front. She checks her clipboard and motions for us to follow her. She leads us to the very back of the restaurant, into the VIP section.

The table was decorated nicely with candles and my favourite flowers. It was truly so beautiful.

I look up at Mattia with heart eyes. The old him could never.

We sat down, ordering what we wanted and made small talk as we ate. At first, I thought that it was a regular fancy date until he got serious.

"Kai, you know that I love you right?" He asks.

"Yes, and I love you." I answer giggling.

"Well, I love you so much that from the moment we finally got together, I never wanted to lose you. When we had that fight, it felt like I lost a part of myself. I never want to feel like that again. You own my heart and I want to be with you forever. So, Kairi... will you make me the happiest man on earth and marry me?" He says getting on one knee holding up the most beautiful ring I've ever seen.

I stared at him for a couple seconds not doing anything, then I realized what was happening and quickly jumped out of my seat, hugging him and kissing his face all over.

"Yes, yes yesss!" I shout crying. "Of course I'll fucking marry you!"
