I had come to help Mattia feel better.

He wasn't himself ever since that night. I mean, he's always had anger issues but for the most part he didn't have a problem handling them. He mostly took his anger out during sex.

He figured out that sex was the best way to relieve himself of stress and anger. That way he could be rough, but not actually hurt someone.

We went to his room to talk and hangout. While we were walking down the hall, I noticed that Kairi's bedroom door was open. I could tell that Mattia had been spending time in there.

We went into his room, going straight to the bed. I laid down, Mattia following me putting his head on my chest.

"I fucked up." He mumbled into my shirt. "He's never going to forgive me and he's never coming back."

I just stayed silent as he ranted. Mattia did this often. He confused his sadness for anger. It made him act out in the most unexpected ways.

I felt hot tears seeping through my shirt and I just let him cry. This had been the first time he's cried in years.

The last time I saw him cry was back in the 10th grade when his father left. After that he put on a tough act, bottling up his emotions and pretending to be alright when he clearly wasn't.

Now here he was, crying in my arms.

After he was done his short rant, I decided to speak up.

"I'm sure that he will forgive you. Kairi cares about you a lot, Mattia. I'm sure that he's beating himself up right now just like you are. Maybe he just needs time before he comes back." I say trying to soothe him.

"Why would he come back to a monster like me?"

That shit made me sad. This was my bestfriend, I never liked seeing him hurt.

"Mattia look at me." I say sitting up against the headboard, his head falling into my lap. He shook his head, sniffling a bit.
"Mattia, look at me now." I said in a sharper tone, not leaving any room for discussion.

He hesitated before looking up at me. His eyes were red and puffy. He looked awful.

"You are not a monster, Matti. You are an amazing person who cares for the people in his life. You made a mistake, okay? Kairi will realize that soon enough and come back, and if he doesn't then he's stupid." I say holding his face in my hands.

Mattia looked at me, not saying anything.
His eyes were filled with so many emotions and he looked torn.

Suddenly, I couldn't breathe.

Mattia was kissing me.

His lips were pressed against mine and his tongue was swiping across my bottom lip asking for entrance.

I opened my mouth, letting him in. He climbed on top of me, deepening the kiss.

My mind clouded as we laid there making out. I knew that this was wrong. We shouldn't be doing this.

But I came here to make him happy meaning that I'd do whatever it takes.
