Omniscient

Three.

That's the total amount of days that Kairi hadn't been home.

Mattia had come back to the apartment that night of the fight, he had a plan. He was going to apologize and beg Kairi to forgive him. He was going to tell the boy just how much he loved him and wanted to be with him.

He was going to.

That was until he saw that  Kairi's room was a total mess. Clothes and items scattered everywhere. Empty drawers and clothing hangers on the floor.

He scanned the room, utterly confused.

Then he realized.

He realized that Kairi ha taken his stuff, and wasn't planning on coming back.

***

Now three days later, after that horrible night. Mattia was curled into Kairi's bed, sniffing the faint smell of his faded cologne.

He had been texting the boy, begging him to come back. He just needed an opportunity to apologize and explain himself.

Explain.

Maybe if he had let Kairi explain the situation that night, things would be different.

Mattia would've known that Kairi was forced into a kiss by Pinto.

Mattia would've known that Kairi is in love with him.

Just how he is in love with the boy.

A knock at the door interrupted Mattia from his thoughts. He groaned, getting up and going to the door.

See, contrarily to Kairi, Mattia wasn't sad.

No, he was mad.

He was absolutely outraged by the fact that Kairi moved out. And on top of that, Kairi wasn't letting Mattia get in contact with him.

All of his calls: declined.

His social medias: blocked.

He knew that his number wasn't blocked since his texts were still going through, but what was the use if Kairi wasn't even reading them....

Mattia ran a hand through his hair, fixing it before he opened the door revealing a very smiley Alejandro.

That made Mattia even more mad.

What was there to smile about if Kairi wasn't there in his arms.

Nothing.

With Kairi gone, the world seemed bland.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Mattia asked, not even containing his anger or annoyance. Alejandro laughed, shaking his head as he walked into the messy house.

Mattia hadn't cleaned up after himself ever since Kairi left. He just left everything in its place.

Ale looked around in slight disgust before his eyes settled on his best friend's face that was set in a mix of a scowl and a frown.

"I came to cheer you up!"

Kairi

I sat at the dining table, playing with my fork as I pushed my food around.

I had no desire to eat.

Actually, lately I had no desire to do anything other than sleep.

The reason behind this was because I always dreamed of Mattia.

Not the mean, raging Mattia. But the nice Mattia who taught me how to make bagels and spaghetti.

I missed that Mattia.

Every night I would cry myself to sleep thinking about how differently things could have turned out.

Maybe me and Mattia would have ended up together.

Maybe we could have even gotten married.

But right now nothing felt possible.

Basic daily routines became insufferable ever since our fight.

Everytime I breathed it was like a pressure on my heart.

Living felt like a chore.

I was miserable.

Completely broken.

I wonder how Mattia's doing

_____

So how we feeling?

Anyways, this is a taste of what their breakup is looking like.
