"Did you found out the reason why she is doing this?" Pagtataka ko.

Naupo ako sa swivel chair ko.

"No sir. Walang nabalita o interview na nagsasabi kung ano ang dahilan niya."

"Tell me about her career" I asked.

Lauren's POV

Sobrang sakit ng ulo ko. Pagkadilat ko pa lang nahihilo pa rin ako.

Wala akong suot na bra, tanging underwear lang. Tumayo nako at kinuha yung robe ko sa kama at sinuot.

It's 9 am.

Late na.

Lumabas nako ng kwarto ko at nagtungo sa kusina. Pagkarating ko rito, bumungad si kuya Lewis sa dining area na nagbabasa ng newspaper habang nagaalmusal.

Pumunta ako sa pwesto niya nabtumayo sa harapan niya.

In fairness, ang ganda ko sa picture. Hindi nako umangal.

"Ano bang iniisip mo? Kakalabas mo lang ng rehab, gusto mo bang bumalik uli?" Tanong nito.

Tumayo nako. Aalis na sana ako ng hawakan niya yung kamay ko para pigilan.

"Just accept their apology. They want you back, Amara. For once, lower down your pride " seryoso nitong sabi.
