"What the hell do you mean!? Bakit hindi mapupublish yung cover ko this month!?"

[Lauren, listen. It's already published I swear. It is ready to be shipped but it was blocked.]

"Blocked!? How the hell did that happened!?"

[Someone bought the whole billions of copies of your magazine and made sure it wouldn't be shipped out to any store.]

Napatayo ako sa kinauupuan ko. Hawak ko yung phone na nakadikit sa kaliwang tenga ko habang hawak ko naman yung tea cup ko sa kanang kamay ko.

"Who the hell did that?...."

"MOTHERFUCKER!" Galit na galit kong bulyaw at hinampas yung tea cup sa table dahila para mabasag ito.

Mabilis na nilinis ng mga katulong yung bubog.

"Mommy, why are you mad?..." Tanong ni Zeilyn.

"Remember Colt? He bought all of the copies of my magazine cover this month! And I don't think I can be their cover because he's just gonna block it again!" Galit kong sabi.

"Well if I have tons of money I would bought it too. I don't like the way you're exposing too much skin." Sagot nito.

I just rolled my eyes.

"Babe c'mon. Don't stress yourself too much. It's just a magazine. You're all face is all over the billboards, walls and in malls. You're in every Tv, newspaper and magazines. Everywhere I go, I see your poster..."

Tumayo ito sa kinauupan niya at lumapit sakin. Naramdaman ko yung yakap niya mula sa likod habang naka cross arms ako.

"Remember what I told you. Breathe in....."

Sinunod ko naman siya.

"And breathe out. "

Hinalikan niya naman ako sa pisngi.

"He's gonna regret what he did." Sabi ko.

Parehas kaming napatingin ni Trevor sa kambal.

"We're gonna be late for school.." paalala nito.

"It's not my problem." Pagtataray ko.

"I'll drive them. Stay here and rest. I'll be back after my shift." Paalam ni Trevor.

Pinagmasdan ko sila na magmadaling umalis. Pagkaupo ko, nakita ko yung lunch box ni Leigh na naiwan at yung pencil case ni Zeilyn sa table.

Napairap nalang ako.

"Fuck." Inis kong sabi.

Wala akong choice kundi isunod ito sakanila dahil naka day off yung ibang body guards at drivers since it's monday.
