Stanley Uris x OC
It (2017) and It: Chapter 2 (2019)
"Could please tell your girlfriend to shut up!"
"She's not... w-we're not..."
"And could you please speak up!"
Greyson Elliot silently ate an apple, with the faint mumbling of The Amazing Spider-Man playing in the TV room.
Everything went from perfectly nice and wholesome, to fucked up in like three minutes last night. She was starting to feel like everything about her world was bipolar.
Then the telephone started ringing, startling her from her thoughts. She stood up from the kitchen table and slid over to the phone with her socks.
"Hello?" She mumbled, picking apple out of her braces with her fingernail. "Grey." It was Bill.
"Bill?" She smiled. Could they all be getting back together? Has her world flipped back to happy and wholesome?
"It got Beverly." Her heart stopped beating and she dropped her apple on the floor.
No, in fact quite the opposite. Her world is even more massively fucked up than before.
Not only is Beverly in danger, Grey broke her promise. Her promise that it wouldn't take any of her friends.
"I'll be over in 3 minutes." Her voice came out monotone and flat. She put down the phone on the receiver and ran to her room to grab her shoes and backpack.
Her heart wasn't beating in her ears, her hands weren't shaking, she wasn't scared. She was angry.
She grabbed the curved pipe from her bathroom, that kept the shower curtain in place. She was so fucking angry.
The trip to Bill's house was a complete blur, from her feet running down the pavement to her actual arrival.
When she got there, most of them had gear and ropes hanging from the book bags, and they all looked at her when she ran up.
Bill was holding an extra flashlight in his hand, and she held her hand out to take it.
"Okay, if anyone is going to back out, now's the time." "No." Grey spoke up.
The losers glanced at her. "No, nobody's backing out. Our friends just got taken by the fucking devil, and we're going to get her back..."
She swung her book bag over her shoulder. "And we're going to kill it."
Without another word, she climbed on the back of Stan's bike, and held onto him tightly. Even if she didn't feel scared now, what they were doing was still scary.
On the ride to Neibolt, Grey let all the anger swell up inside her and boil. It was better to hold onto that than let it become fear. That's what it wants after all.
When they finally got to the crummy house, with its creepy intricate details, the swarmed in and went straight for the well.
Little did they know, they were spotted by another crazed lunatic. But it wasn't the clown.
A rope was tied to the top, and thrown down. "We have to go down there?" Stanley quivered.
Grey assured him by putting a hand on his shoulder. "Stan you can do this, we know that you can. You know that you can."
He smiled and the kids started climbing down, one by one. There was a small divot in the wall of the well, that lead down a tunnel.
They started climbing in there, Mike and Grey being the last ones at the top. "Ladies first." He smiled.
She giggled and grabbed onto the rope, hooking her legs around it to keep from falling. But then she heard Mike cry out in pain.
She spun around and saw none other than Henry Bowers, covered in blood and wielding a knife. All of her anger fell right into the well, and was replaced by overwhelming fear.
He looked right at her, crazy in his eyes. She tried desperately to climb down but he stalked over and grabbed her by the hair.
He pulled her up off the rope and threw her onto the ground beside Mike. Down the well, the echoes of the other losers' screams spread throughout the room.
They watched him pull the rope up from out of the well, and turn to look at them. He looked like a murderer.
"You didn't listen to what I told you, did you?" He asked Mike. "I said stay out of Derry."
He backed up, and Grey scooted away, spotting a 2 by 4 just mere feet away. "Your parents didn't, and look what happened to them."
He continued to berate Mike, before lunging at him. Grey watched while the two struggled with the sheep gun, and she grabbed the plank of wood from behind the trash mounds.
Standing up and wiping her barely bloody nose, she swung the board at him, smacking Bowers right in the back of the head.
He yelled and fell off of Mike, long enough for him to crawl away. Henry looked at her with crazy in his eyes.
"I'll kill you, you fucking freak!" He yelled, lunging for Grey. She tried hitting him again, to no avail.
He grabbed her by the shirt collar and landed a solid punch to her eye. She hit the ground and a foot hit her stomach, giving her the familiar feeling she was going to throw up.
She kicked the back of his knee as hard as she could, and his leg collapsed. Grey swung her legs up and kicked him in the face, knocking his back against the well wall.
Mike came back in, hitting him in the head with the wood plank and sending him falling down the well. Not entirely what they meant to do but, they were totally opposed either.
The kids were still screaming from the side tunnel in the well, so Mike and Grey flopped over the side and waved at them.
"We're okay." Mike yelled to them. Grey scoffed and threw the rope back down to the boys. "Speak for yourself. He's lying! He's like, missing entire appendages and shit!" She yelled down to them.
Mike and her laughed while Richie yelled up, "Beep beep Grey!" She started climbing down, and shook her head. "You aren't allowed to do that Richie."
Soon both of the kids were down there and hugging the boys with happy comfort. Their first obstacle had come sooner than they thought, but they still persevered.
That is until Grey frowned, glancing around the tunnel. "Uh, guys? Where's Stanley?"
They turned around and noticed his absence. "Stanley?" "Stanley!!"
Their useless screams echoed down the tunnels, with no response in return. Okay, now Grey was really scared. Just in case, she held her sleeve over her nose while they crawled through the dirty caverns.
