Twenty-four

The next morning, Adah woke me up with a perfect breakfast on bed she just prepared.

"You're doing a lot around here. Like seriously, you didn't have to..." i said sitting up. "Oh come on Mavery will you stop? You should have said good morning instead!". She shouted and i laughed.

"Whatever". I rolled my eyes. I was able to dive into a full tray of food she had given me when my phone started to vibrate. It's him, i excitedly answered it. "Good morning beautiful". Austin greeted me sweetly. I bit my lips and brushed my hair. "Hi, morning." i said smiling. "What's up? How are you feeling?" i showed him the tray of food Adah prepared for me. "I'm fucking jealous!" he shouted and we both laughed.

"Have you eaten? You can't be skinny y'know. I love you being a pig." i teased him and i earned a fake laugh from him. "Thanks for the concern, and for being so rude to me." he said being so cute. I started to laugh. "I called you beautiful and i got a 'pig' in return?" he added earning more laughter from me.

"Okay okay i'm sorry. What's up for today?" i asked getting myself together. "Nothing new. Flight, performance and then flight again. Also, there might be an interview. Are you checking your phone? I always text you." he exclaimed lighting a cigarette.

"It's too early to smoke baby". I said seriously looking at him. "I know i know. I'm sorry, last one." he said. I bit my lips and nodded. "Good luck for today." i smiled. He nodded and pouted his lips. Matt suddenly appeared on the screen.

"Matt! Hi!" i excitedly said. "Hello Mavs, how's the wedding prep?" he asked and i shrugged my shoulders. "Adah keeps telling me it's a secret. But i'll make her say it then i'll tell you." i said smiling. Austin suddenly pushed him. "Seriously? You're fucking gonna tell him first?" he said with big eyes. I laughed, he's really cute!

"You wouldn't dare do that right?" he added and i heard Matt babbled something but Austin shut him out of the room. "That's enough Austin, i was just kidding okay?" i said forcing myself to stop from laughing. "Okay whatever." he said rolling his eyes. "Babe? Seriously? Come on! You're too big to act like that!" i shouted collapsing on the bed, admiring his cuteness.

Adah took the tray away from me and lip talked that she's going to get my vitamins. I nodded and focused back on my screen. "Are you taking care of yourself for me?" i seriously said. "Of course baby, don't worry about me. And hey listen, i need to go. I have an interview again." he said tiredly. I sighed and showed him a weak smile. "I'm so proud of you." i whispered taking the phone closer to my face. "Come here, i'm gonna fucking kiss you." he whispered back making me giggle.

"Go on, you need to go. Good luck okay? I'll text you." i said waving my hand at him. "Cool, i love you." he said kissing me on cam. "I love you too!" and by that, the call was ended. I sat up and immediately started to type a text for him.

'I've watched your last interview and if you're waiting for me to tell you this, (which i know you really do)

You looked gorgeous on screen!'

I locked my screen and bit my lips. He's really looking so gorgeous though! I giggled to myself as i take the tray of food Adah prepared for me.

"So how's the tour going?" she asked as she enter the room. "Fine, he has another interview this morning." i answered diving into the food she had cooked. "I put the your vitamins on the stand. Don't forget to drink them okay? Also, i prepared breakfast downstairs for Kyle. I just need to do something. I'll be back in the afternoon i guess?" she suddenly said.

"Huh? I thought I'd be around helping you?" i asked. "Before honey, but i don't think it's healthy for you to be around this time. Like, please just trust me with this.  I know what i'm doing." she rolled her eyes. "It's not that i don't trust you and i know that you know what you're doing. I was just-so excited about this." i pouted my lips.

"I understand... But look, it's for the baby okay? For you and the baby. I'll facetime you when i need your opinion, cool?" she held my hands. I sighed and shook my head.

"Good! I'll see you later!" she shouted and completely went out of the room. I took my phone and saw a text from Austin.

'You really are my girl, call you after the show. I love you.'

I smiled and focused back on my food. I need to be healthy. After eating, i took all my vitamins and meds. I went downstairs to check if Kyle is around. I need to distract my mind. And fortunately, he just arrived.

"Good morning!" he greeted me. "Morning Kyle what's up?" i said holding my bump. "Nothing special, just this..." he whispered taking a bouquet of sunflower from the car. My mouth opened. He walked to me and took his phone. "Austin said you need to check your phone right now." he said giving me the beautiful bouquet of flowers.

"I, i left it upstairs wait-" i said taking the bouquet from him. "G-Get in, t-there's breakfast i-in the kitchen!." i stutter as i walk fastly inside. "Okay okay be careful." he said laughing.

The moment i entered the guest room, i scanned for my phone and immediately checked the notification.

'Hope the flowers were making it up to you. I picked them and i know they're beautiful (but not as you are)

I love you babe, so so much! (:'

I didn't fight to cry. He's just so sweet! I typed away to reply and send it immediately. I went downstairs where i saw Kyle making a coffee.

"You liked it?" he asked, smiling. "Loved it!" i rolled my eyes as i put the flowers to the vase he prepared for me. "He said i need to prepare that vase so i did." he said bringing the two cups of coffee to the table. I looked at him and sighed. "I'm sorry about him asking you to do this type of thing..." i apologized.

He shook his head. "Don't worry about it come on. This is my job. And if this is what makes you both happy, why not do it?" he said and my heart melts. "If only Austin was here, you wouldn't really have to do this for me." i said sitting on the island. "I know. But either way, he's still going to give you everything, and i want you to know that." he took a sip from his cup.

"I know that Kyle." i answered taking my freshly brewed cup of coffee. "Going somewhere today?" he asked. I paused and think for awhile. "I.don't.know." i pouted my lips. He shrugged his shoulders and continue to drink his coffee.

My phone suddenly dinged. I was able to pick it from the top when it accidentally slipped from my grip and fell straightly on the floor. I groaned and carelessly bent down causing me to hit my head on the edge of the countertop.

"Aw!" i cried out of pain closing my eyes. "Mavs! Are you-" Kyle's voice faded as i suddenly see something on my mind.

I'm remembering something...
