The next morning i woke up with a beautiful bouquet of Chianti sunflower on my bedside. A smile automatically curved my lips. The door opens and there revealed Adah-of course with a breakfast tray on her hands.

"Goodmorning Theo's Mommy!" she greeted me as she put the tray beside me. "How's the flowers? Isn't it beautiful?" she added as she help me slowly sat up.

"They're pretty, Kyle got 'em?" i said having my first sip from the cup of coffee she just prepared.  "Yeah, and he's out for today that's why i'm here!" she stood up.

"Wait what? What happened?" i worriedly asked. "He just got a text from his wife that their baby's coming out." she said normally and my eyes widened.

"Oh my gosh! Why didn't you wake me up!? I wanna come with him!" I shouted. "Seriously? After what happened the last time?" she hushed me by saying those words. I can't even start something again. I can't stress Austin out.

"But, you know what? Let's go party tonight!" I almost spit my coffee all over her face. "What!? It's morning and you're already talking about night partying?" i rolled my eyes.

"Aren't you forgetting something?" she asks with her confused face. "Forget what?" i said as i stand up.

"Bitch you're getting married two days from now." she spat.

I froze.
The wedding.
My wedding.

I slowly looked at her.

"Fuck." i whispered then she started to laugh.

"See!? I told you! If you keep your mind distracted of the things that you miss, then you'd really be surprised that it's already coming your way!" she shouted as she jumps around the room.

"Alright, alright and alright! Stop jumping around!" I shouted as i stop her.

---

We both decided not to tell Austin that we're going out tonight. He'd just not gonna come with it. Adah said she got me back up. And the only reason that i agree with this stupid thing is that, i'll be a wife and a mother soon and i am a hundred-and-one percent sure that i wouldn't have this chance to bond with her like this again.

"Are we seriously heading to a club?" I asked her as i look on the driveway. "Why not?" she said and i tapped her legs. "Look at me. I have this big bump, i can't drink and i am not single." I said chuckling.

"Does that makes you an alien or something? Look, everybody's welcome to a club!" She shouted as she looked for a parking.

"Adah listen, erase this club thing and why don't we just buy some ice cream and pizza, head home and watch some documentary on Netflix instead?" I said raising my shoulders.

"Pffft-" she stopped herself from laughing. "That is not the Mavery i know before! That's the opposite of what she'd say in this situation!" She shouted laughing so hard.

"I-i can't okay, i can't do this." i sighed. "Come ooooonnnn!" she shouted putting the car into a complete stop.  "Okay listen, we'll hang out for just an hour. Deal?" she said holding my hands. "Just an hour Adah Marie, just an hour." i said rolling my eyes.

She kissed me on my cheeks then immediately hopped off the car to help me out.

I was impressed that i was slightly used to loud music and i think i liked it. I mean i am sure i used to be around here before but nevermind, I can't wait for an hour to pass.

"I'm guessing an orange juice for this pretty lady here?" The bartender greeted us. We sat on the stools and looked at the guy. "Don't you think that's too common? Make her some kiwi with watermelon something! or whatever!, just-not-the-freaking-orange-thing." Adah said showing her clubbing attitude.

The bartender just winked at her. I rolled my eyes. "I am really happy to be a mom. I mean, i can't even manage to watch your thing Adah." I said looking around.

Endulging on my fruit drink, i watched as Adah endlessly flirt with some guys but i made sure that she's going home with me-not drank just completely fine.

---

I went out of the bathroom and was greeted by a guy.

"Mavs," i was stopped.

He know me.

"E-excuse me?" i knitted my eyebrows.

"Don't you remember me?" He added as he took a step closer to me.

"Oh my gosh stop." I said frightened.

"Hey, it's fine i am not gonna hurt you." He raised his arms.

"Okay but i'm sorry i don't know you." I said as i turned around. Maybe he's just one of those gossip thirsty people.

But i was wrong,

"At least we shared 3 years together."

My heart stopped from beating. My tears started to fall.

I slowly tilted my body to face him again. I examined his face and i couldn't believe what just happened.

"Gal..." I whispered as i remembered his name.

He bit his lips and the next thing i knew i was prisoned inside his arms.

"Thank God, how are you? I thought you'd never recognize me..." He whispered and i immediately separated from him.

"Wait, why are you like that?" I asked wiping my cheeks.

"Why not? I was so worried. Since the day the accident happened Austin didn't let me see you-" i cut him off.

"Austin wouldn't do that, what are you saying?" I almost shouted.

"There's so many things I'd like to tell you." He whispered.

"There's so much you deserve to know." He added.

I stared at his eyes and i knew he wasn't lying.

"Let's get out of here. We should find a decent place to talk." I said taking my phone to leave Adah a message.

---

I looked at my phone as it continues to vibrate on the table. I wiped my tears as i close my eyes regretting that i even talked to Galad.

Yes.

I regret for making myself see what's really happening around me.

It's all a lie.
