Twenty-seven

My mouth started to dry as i watch how her mouth opens.

"He..." her words slowly coming out.

I tried my best not to pass out from feeling my heart sinking into my stomach.

"... keeps on suggesting weird ideas for the wed." she finally say.

I made a deep sigh. I thought it was something bad. Psh! Mavery!

I blinked. "I-is that so?" i asked as i chugged the remaining juice from my glass.

"All men should wear a cowboy hat except him. Like what the fuck was he thinking?" she spat. I let out a short laugh.

"He might be drunk when he told you that." i said laughing it all out.

And speaking of him, my phone suddenly started vibrating.

"It's Austin... I'm sorry." i mouthed as she gave me an assured nod to answer his facetime call again.

"Hey there beautiful." he greeted me with a smile. "Hi, uhm. I'm swimming with this lady here." i said tilting my phone to let him see Adah. "Hell fucking no baby." he said starting to tease Adah again. "You're right, let's get up and just end that call." Adah answered back. I laughed holding my belly.

"We're not even interested about your other weird suggestions." Adah said rolling her eyes. "Seriously guys how are you?" he laughed.

"Oh, we're fine. You? And the others?" i asked watching him chew his lower lip. "Exhausted as hell. But it's fun. Fans were always incredible." he smiled. "That's cool. I'm so proud of you, you know that?" i said grinning. "Of course Babe, how's my baby down there?" he asked. "Oh he can't hear you, he's under the water so." i said then he laughed. "Give him a rub for me okay?" he requested and i gave him a nod. "By the way i need to go. I'll go shower and probably rest for some hour. Get up from there already it's gonna get cold soon." he whispered and the tiredness showed in his eyes.

I sighed. "Yeah okay. Take care of yourself. Goodnight baby." i said pouting my lips. "Goodnight babe, call you tomorrow." he kissed me on cam and ended the call right after.

"He's growing so fast i can't even believe it!" Adah shouted as she saw my already big bump. I stroke my belly. "Same with me. I'm so excited to see him." i smiled.

"I just hope that he looks like you. But we already know who's he gonna look like." she rolled her eyes. I laughed. "Why are you still teasing him even when he's not around!" i shouted throwing a pillow to her.

"Why? I love you okay? But there's something inside me that still hates him." she suddenly turned serious.

"What?" i knitted my eyebrows at her.

"You wouldn't remember so just forget about it. You want some fruits? I'll get you some." she stood up.

I stared at her for awhile. "That's sweet. Thanks." i said smiling. "I know, i'm the best so stop staring at me like that." she joked as she jog to the door.

I laughed as i watched her completely went out of the room.

"You really are the best." i whispered to myself as i giggle.

After cutting fruits for me, she came back with a glass of wine. "Are you okay? You were drinking the whole time." i said as she put the tray down on the stand.

"No, i'm fine. Austin has a good taste for wine that's why i'm turning down a bottle tonight." she laughed.

"What a relief. I thought you're not okay." i said as i pick a grape from the bowl.

"Tell me, do you guys have plans after the wedding? Like places for honeymoon and stuff." she asked. I bit my lips. "Honestly, we haven't talk about that yet. I just don't know, i feel like Austin is enough. Just him, me and the baby. Nothing else matters." i smiled.

"Even me? I don't matter to you?" she raised an eyebrow at me. I didn't fight to laugh. "Stop! What a nonsense!" i slightly pushed her.

"Hey, i just remember. Are you guys settled with the name 'Theodore'?" she asked and i immediately smiled. "I think so? He gave me a babybag with a Gold T, and a pair of tee with the same letter." i said and she laughed. "How could i forget that! It's cool anyway." she elbowed me.

"Austin gave it. I just don't know if i should give him a second name or what." i said getting another grape from the bowl.

"You'll know it when you see him." she said holding my hands. "Are you sure????" i asked with the most hopeful tone i could ever make. "Yeah of course. And i am also sure that you'll be a great Mom." she said as if we're on a drama.

I didn't help to cry.

"Seriously?" she asked then in just a split second, tears started to show on her face too. She suddenly pulled me for a hug. "I'm so so proud of you. No matter what happens, i'll always be here for you." she whispered, stroking my back.

I sighed slowly separating from her. "T-thank you... You're the best..." i managed to say before bursting out in tears again.

"Okay okay okay. Stop already." she said wiping my face dry. "Let's continue eating okay? Then we'll get to bed. It's getting late. You should be resting by this time." she slightly laughed.

"Yeah alright, here have some apple." i said as i aim to put an apple into her mouth. "I'll take care of it." she said getting it from my hand. "Brat." i whispered and she immediately threw a grape on me.

"Rude!" she shouted. Then we both started laughing.

"Do you think Austin and i are going to be good parents?" i whispered as i look at her. She fixed the blanket on me. "Austin loves you so so much, he loves your baby. Same goes with you. You guys love each other so much! How could you not be a good parents for Theo?" she straightly said.

I closed my eyes and smiled.

"Just few more months and we're going to be real parents..."
