Twilight, if a normal girl was Bella.
This is gonna be twilight with Bella replaced with another female lead, where she generally reacts to everything in her life (aka twilight) like a normal human being.

Maylee, is walking a mile in Bella's shoes, as the main character in twilight.

Maylee's P.O.V
I'm moving to a dreary old town called Forks, in Washington, with my dad, because my mum and her partner are travelling for his job, and I don't want her to have to worry about me.

"Come on May!" Phill called out to me as I took one last look at my old home. I smiled at it, before turning on my heels and heading to his car.

The trip to the airport was fairly long, but it flew past as I burned every piece of Florida into my memory as we drove by the familiar sights I wouldn't be seeing for a very, long time. Mum gave me a giant bear hug as we parted in the airport, Phil giving me a hug and smile as well.

I took a flight from Florida to Washington, and then switched flights in Washington airport, onto a smaller inner state flight, that only seated 24. The small plane flew me right into Forks, where my dad would be waiting.

I came out of the plane, onto the one lane plane runway, to see grey skies, the sun barely trying to make a late appearance. It had been a long time since I'd been in Forks and I hardly remembered the place, though I did remember that the sun was often a no show. I walked into the small building that served as the Forks airport and took my luggage from cart that had been wheeled in, the tiny airport, if you could even call it that, not warranting any conveyor belts, or fancy stuff like that. I exited the small building to see my dad, Charlie Swan, standing beside his sheriff's cruiser. He smiled stiffly at me and I smiled warmly back as I stopped in front of him.

"Hi dad." I said as wrapped my arms around his waist. He took a moment to return the gesture, but squeezed me tight once he did.

"Hi May." He said softly as we pulled away. He put my bag in the back-seat and opened the passenger door for me to climb in. I buckled my seatbelt, as dad started the car, and we were off. We drove passed, trees, trees, and more trees, and then suddenly, buildings. Not big or grand ones, but small, wooden and brick ones, all coloured in faded paints, some surrounded by faded, wood, fences and others having wide open yards. It was quaint, and sweet.

I tried to pull old memories from the recesses of my mind, but it was all hazey and faded, much like the houses. I didn't remember much at all. Really only dad's house, my room, the backyard, the rain.

"You look a lot taller." Dad said, not taking his eyes off the road as he tried to make conversation. I smiled softly at him, and tried to lighten the atmosphere, that seemed to be as grey as the sky.

"I'd sure hope so! You last saw me three years ago, when you came up for my fourteenth birthday." I said with a light chuckle. It seemed to work, but only a little, as dad smiled, and then seemed to get lost in thought, his brows furrowing. My smile dropped to. It had been a while. It wasn't really anyones fault in particular. I'd stopped coming every summer when I'd finished sixth grade and started highschool, I'd gotten to busy to spend my summer vacation, holidaying in Forks. Plus dad had been busy with work, so we'd just stopped seeing each other, by accident.

We pulled onto the lawn of the old, familiar, cream, two story, house. I looked up out the front window, at the place I'd once called home, and that I'd be calling home, once again. We got out of the car, dad carrying my bag up the steps to the front door for me.

"You're old rooms, just how you left it." Dad said as we entered the house. It smelt familiar. Like a mix of, Chinese takeout, gun powder and beer. I looked around the front entry which was connected to the kitchen, dinning, and the lounge room. It was exactly like I remembered it.

"I had a friend from the reservation, Sue Clearwater, get you a few things for your room. You still like purple, right?" Dad asked me. I turned to face him as I noticed the stairs that lead up to the second floor, he stood at the top of them with my bag, glancing down at me. I smiled brightly and nodded.

"Love it, actually." I replied as I quickly made my way up the stairs, taking them two at a time, despite my rather short legs. I stopped at the top, in fornt of dad, with a huff. He smiled softly at me and shook his head as he made his way to my old bedroom. I followed after him, smiling, suddenly really excited to be back in Forks. He opened the first door on the left and walked in. I followed after him quickly, feeling giddy, excitement.

"I moved the old desk from the study in here for you." He said as he gestured to a desk against the wall. I took it all in. Just how I'd left it my year six summer, the last time I'd visited, not even staying the entire summer. Pictures of dad and I, fishing or playing littered the walls. Terrible drawings I'd done through the years and birthday cards from dad were also pinned up. I smiled as I sat down on the purple comforter.

"I love it, thanks." I said to dad as he sat my bags down at the foot of my bed. He smiled and gave the room a brief look over.

"I cleared a shelf in the bathroom for you." He said as he turned to leave. I chuckled to myself. Never hovering, that's dad alright. I smiled to myself but said nothing as he gave me a nod and then disappeared back down stairs.
