That day, after Jiwoo finished work, we met up at the mall to find ourselves goofing around in multiple stores. She chose a beautiful red crop top with a checkered miniskirt. I, on the other hand, was much harder to please when it came to clothes.
As I browsed through racks of dresses, I hear giggling across the aisle from mine. Glancing up, I spot four similar girls gushing over something on one's phone. It was them.
"You have to admit it: he is a cutie," Jennie quietly squeals at a picture on her phone. "Just think of us at our senior prom. Last prom was so boring but this year...this year, I'm bound to make it happen," she goes on.
"He's so boring: Min Yoongi. Why don't you settle for Tae or Jin?" Jisoo replies as she holds a yellow, spaghetti strapped tank top to her chest.
"Sloppy seconds are my type," she shrugs, her tone rather rude and snobbish. "Besides, Yoongi's different with me. You haven't seen him when we are alone."
"Oh yeah?" Lisa crosses her arms while biting her bottom lip in a teasing manner. "You mean the one time in Sophomore year where you had your first time?"
Jennie's eyes widen in anger before harshly pressing a finger to her fingers red coated lips. "Not a word, Lisa. Not a word."
"Not even on how bad it was?" Rose giggles, only getting the other two to laugh while Jennie drowned in her own embarrassment.
"We were young! And besides, we were so drunk, he doesn't even remember it!" She snaps, the others covering their mouths to try to hide their giggles. "Every time I bring it up, he just ignores or says something like, 'I don't recall ever sleeping with you."
"That ain't our fault, sis," Lisa presses her lips together as she continues to browse.
A tap was suddenly felt on my shoulder, allowing myself to turn to find Jiwoo holding up a black dress with long, flowing sleeves and large cuts in the shoulders. It held subtle ruffles on the bottom that went down to about the mid thigh.
"Huh?" She grins, gesturing to the dress in her hands that I couldn't take my eyes off of. Nodding, I look back up at her before replying with, "it's perfect."

As we got dressed in my room, I couldn't help but keep looking at the picture Tae sent me that I refused to close out of. Jiwoo agreed to take a picture of it on her phone so I didn't have to screenshot which nearly saved my life.
"Now don't go drooling on that new dress. That is the only time I will ever buy a whole outfit for you," she teases, my eyes rolling in a circle at her comment.
I couldn't stop gazing at his beautiful eyes and his messy, black hair that only made him look ten times sexier. And he said to, "dress pretty, beautiful." 'He called me beautiful.'
"Alright, how do I look?" She asks, twirling around in her new attire that went very well with the half up half down hairdo and white sneakers.
"Great," I smile, looking back down at my dress that I didn't realize showed so much cleavage. I had to pull the damn thing up every 10 seconds or else risk showing too much than I intended. "You driving?"
"I can," she says, taking her phone and exiting my room, allowing me to follow behind her. I wave my parents goodbye before getting into my car and having Jiwoo drive us to the address Tae gave me.
Butterflies flutter all around my stomach as we neared the destination. I didn't know what to expect since I had never been to a party, let alone a senior's party. We parked near the crib of the ginormous house surrounded by people dancing, talking, and swimming in the pool the snaked around back.
We both were thinking the same thing: 'how rich is this guy?' Walking across the lawn and into the packed house, I was not surprised to find a full island of drinks and solo cups. Music was blasting throughout the house and everyone seemed to be having a great time.
I almost jump out of my skin at a set of hands grasping my bare shoulders to find Jungkook. "You made it!" He cheers, his outfit changed to a simple white shirt with a black jacket that went with the black, ripped jeans. He changed his earrings too and it was then that I found a series of small tattoos on his left hand. 'Why am I not surprised?'
I smile back with a shrug. "So I did," I giggle as I notice his eyes scanning me up and down. "What?" I cross my arms, raising an eyebrow to tease him.
He snaps out of it, immediately growing red with embarrassment shortly afterwards. "Oh, you just look pretty is all. C'mon, the guys are waiting," he says, taking my hand and pulling me away from Jiwoo and towards another room in the house.
I hear her heave a sigh before trudging after me. Entering the room, 6 pairs of eyes land on me from the L shaped couched. I swallow the lump in my throat at the sight of Tae resting his arms on the back of the couch, a beer in hand and one leg crossed over the other.
"Hey, Dea. Hi, Jiwoo," Hoseok greets, shooting Jiwoo a smile that she didn't take kindly. 'What's up with her?' I think as Jungkook urges me to the couch; right beside Tae.
"So, you made it, I see," he turns his head to face me, those blue eyes sucking the life out of me. I almost melting at the sight of him.
"I...uh...I-I suppose I did," I stutter, completely awestruck by the man sitting right beside me, his arm basically wrapped around me.
He breaks into a smile at my response, turning away to sip his drinks as he does so. "I'm glad you could make it too, Jiwoo," Namjoon points out as my friend holds her arms in a knot beside Hoseok.
She lets out a scoff before reaching for the bottle of vodka on the table and taking a drink. My eyebrows raise at the sight of my friend drinking. 'How did they know her name?'
Hoseok noticed my confusion and wrapped an arm around Jiwoo in return. "Aww, you didn't tell Dea about me?" He smiles, her eyes rolling to the back of her head in annoyance.
"You're embarrassing enough as it is," she sighs, a few boys smiling at the two. "He's my brother."
