In Mystic Falls a new Mikaelson witch arrived into town, her destination was the Salvatore Boarding School where her niece and nephews had been located for their safekeeping. Freya decided to travel up the states on a mission after hearing about Ivy, a New Orleans Seer, prediction where Vincent was the one asking the question.

The prediction Vincent witnessed was the one Ivy had read from her tarot cards when Vincent want to know about New Orleans. Having known that Klaus arrived at New Orleans, Vincent needed reassurance that the city wouldn't collapse. Only the cards weren't about Klaus, but rather Hope. Making Ivy remind Vincent of Sabine Laurent's prediction in which she swore Hope would destroy the witches. Vincent having known Sabine didn't believe the prediction, also because he knew that Hope was just a child.

The tarot cards predicting Hope's future were the sun, a sign of good health and abundance, the card of temperance meaning peace, chariot card for triumph or success. The hangman card means a terrible sacrifice, the devil is for bondage and slavery, the tower is for calamity. Famine, flood, fire; all leading towards Hope Mikaelson being their downfall. Vincent knowing that the future on the cards wasn't set in stone he knew that Hope may be strong enough to destroy the city, but she might also be strong enough to be the spark that ignites a revolution. So, Vincent held out hope that they can change Hope's course.

Freya walks down the Salvatore school hall with a white bag in one hand and in the other her phone. At the other end of the call, Vincent was saying, "Your brother has got a very interesting approach to motivational speaking"

"Look, I know there's no love between you two, but as insane as he seems, Klaus's tactics always work. Just ride out his bad mood as best as you can" Freya replies walking past various students who were in their own world ignoring the adult witch

"Yeah, if he keeps messing with me, I'm gonna show him a bad mood. Tell me, did you make contact?"

At Vincent's question, Freya couldn't help but mock him, "'Make contact'? We talking about my niece or a secret agent?"

"Freya. I know that this is hard for you to hear, but Ivy's cards predicted that your niece might, in fact, be the devil in disguise, so you cannot be soft on her" Vincent reminds his best friend who was walking up the stairs of the Salvatore school

"She's 15. Her future isn't written in stone," Freya says as it was her turn to remind her best friend of the hope they had in turning a bad prediction into something good "That's why I'm here. To make sure of it"

"Good luck"

"You, too" Freya replies knowing he had to deal with her brother being the big bad wolf to achieve a promise. Freya hangs up the call and puts her phone back in her back pocket as she reaches Hope's room.

The twins needed a break, which is how they ended up in the school's empty kitchen.

Matthew couldn't help but notice the necklace hanging around his brothers' neck. While all three siblings still wore their Mikaelson crest necklace, Spencer had changed the chain of his. Unlike his siblings, Spencer still wore his magic canceling jewelry, only now it rested around his neck rather than on his wrist.

"Why don't you take it off?" Matthew asks pointing at his twin's neck making Spencer know exactly what he was talking about "You're in supernatural school, no need for something to suppress your abilities"

"I did take it off last night. Thought it might help me see-" Spencer, unlike his siblings, was forced into being a certain type of witch called Seer, it was a gift one couldn't give away. Spencer didn't need spells to access his gift of divination but wasn't fully trained to control his visions of the past or future.
