Chapter 5: New Agent Work

~3s POV~

It's 11 in the morning, Tobias and I both woke up early, so we made breakfast and ate, after we got dressed we were ready for the day ahead.

"So you have anything planned for today?" Tobias was sat on the couch watching TV, while I was texting our friends. "No not really, I thought we could just chill at...." Before I could finish my sentence, I heard a knock at the door. After a few seconds, I heard it again. I got up and looked toward the door, who could possibly be at my door? At 11 in the morning? "I'll answer it." Tobias nodded and went back to watching TV. Opening the door, I saw Pearl and Marina stood there; I was confused. Why would they be here? Before I could even ask, they started to talk, "Is 8 here 3? Your both needed at headquarters immediately! Get changed into your agent gear and get to the manhole cover, we'll be waiting there for you." In a hurry, they rushed off. It was all so sudden. Why were we both needed at headquarters? What were we needed for? I closed the door and walked back into the living room. Tobias was stood up, already in his agent gear. "I heard everything," he had his Kensa Splatterscope in hand, ink tank on and filled, ready for our first mission in weeks. Knowing it was urgent, I raced up stairs and got changed into my agent outfit. Long sleeved black t-shirt, flouresent jacket, shorts, trainers and my grey Cape with a backwards 3 on. I grabbed my agent headset and hero shot, and made my way to the manhole cover with 8 behind me.

Pearl and Marina were waiting for us, just like they said, so we followed them down into the manhole cover, transformed, and made our way to the Squidbeak Splatoon. "Make sure we call each other by our agent names 8, it's a mission, not get to know each other." He giggled a slight bit at the last thing I said. I started at him, putting on a look that said 'we need to be serious now.' Straight away he stopped giggling and returned to being serious.

"3 you made it!" As we entered headquarters, I heard a familiar voice. Looking around, I see Callie, and Marie. "5, 6, You made it as well," Marie didn't seem to really like Pearl and Marina, after all, they did steal their spotlight once they became off the hook. They are still quite popular, Callie and Marie, for their song 'Calamari Inkamtation', but not as popular as Off the Hook. "I don't believe Ive met you before," Marie walks over to 8, not knowing that he's part of Squidbeak splatoon now. "I'm 8, Agent 8, Captain Cuttlefish gave me title after he found me in Deapsea Metro." He smiled like usual and waved. Callie waved back, but Marie stood there lost in her thoughts, probably thinking about whether Captain told her about 8 or not. "Well I'm Marie, and that's Callie. We are Agent 1 and 2, but formally known as 'the Squid Sisters.' Talking about Captain Cuttlefish, our Grampa, the mission is about him." Marie finished and gestured to us, telling us to follow. We move to the room with seats, around a circle table. Each seat had our Agent number on it. 1 for Callie, 2 for Marie, 3 for me, 4 for whoever Agent 4 was, 5 for Pearl, 6 for Marina and 8 for Tobias. We all sit down and Marie starts to explain what the mission is.

"You see, once you defeated Tar Tar, somehow, you managed to leave Captain behind. Which isn't good, he knows alot of information about the Octarians, and it is important information that can be used to our advantage." Callie stepped in and continued, "We need you and 8 to go down into the Metro and find Captain. I'll be communicating with you, along with 2, with your headsets. We have a new one for 8, it isn't as big and chunky as yours is 3, and soon you'll be getting an upgrade for yours." Marie finished the conversation, "5 and 6 will take you there safely in the helicopter. Get in, get out. We need Captain back as soon as possible!"

I walked out of the room, and headed to the helicopter. 8 came moments after, wearing a headset. It matched his Agent suit. It was black with a yellow earpiece. Soon after, 5 and 6 got in and took us to Deapsea Metro, but before we took off Marie and Callie waved to us, saying, "Come back safely!" It was so exhilarating, our first agent mission since near world destruction, what could possibly go wrong?
