Chapter 6: Captain In Danger!

~8s POV~

Flying down to Deepsea Metro was hard for me; I loved the fact we had new agent work, but going to the place where I was trapped for weeks just made me feel uncomfortable. Knowing I had to go in, I just told myself that everything was fine and we were just going to find Captain as soon as we could and get out.

"We are here; get in, get out, good luck 3! Good luck 8!" Marina told us, she flew down to the ground and dropped us off. 5 and 6 flew off into the distance and landed on a tall building, so they could pick us up when we got out. It was dark, like the Metro always was. Graffiti covered the walls, for most of it, it was silent but every now and then you could hear water dripping from broken pipes. We walked over to the train, but before we got on, I saw the blender, in pieces, Tar Tar layed on the ground lifeless. I kicked him across the floor and said, "That's what you get for trying to destroy the entire world you bi-" "Cmon 8! We have a mission to complete, you can remember the big fight later," 3 was right, we needed to complete the mission before anyone found out we were here. But before I caught up to 3, I looked at the remnants of Tar Tar and saw a switch, it looked like it had activated when I kicked him across the floor. I didn't know what it did, so I left it alone and caught up to 3.

"We'll split up, you look around the platforms and I'll search the train." 3 told me. So I headed to a few platforms and checked around. Girl power station, swass 8 ball station, Hasta la vista Station, and more. I checked all their platforms, but no sign of Captain yet. "8, come in? 8? I've found Captain, but we aren't the only ones here." 3 contacted me over her headset, "I'm on the second to last train section, meet me there. Over and out." I quickly got to the train and started to make my way to the section 3 was at.

~3s POV~

"What do you want?" There were 3 octolings in front of me, all holding rollers, prepared to attack if someone tried to attack them. "We want you and your friends dead," the leader stepped forward and continued, "You defeated our leader once, The other agent did it a second time. And we want revenge." He kept moving forward lifting his weapon into the air, I stumbled and fell. Closing my eyes, I prepared for him to attack, but nothing happened. I opened my eyes and got up, 8 was infront of me, confronting the octolings. "Dont you dare hurt her," 8 slowly reached into his pocket, ready to throw a bomb at them. "So your the traiter who joined the Squidbeak splatoon? Well we will hurt you first instead!" The leader reached out and swung his weapon, but before 8 could through a bomb, he was knocked backwards by the hit. I got up slowly and went over to him. He was knocked out, and injured quite a bit. Getting up, I turned around and started at them; picking up my Hero shot from the floor, I fired. The leader doged it and one of the other octolings got shot. Laughing, the leader came over and swung at me, I doge rolled and took down the other octoling before they could hit me with their weapon. "Is that all you've got?" The leader came running at me once more, with his roller in the air, I rolled to the side and threw a bomb. He hit the floor, but before he could try once more, he was hit by the bomb.

"Next time, dont mess with me or injure my friend." I turned and ran over to 8. I could hear the the octolings running away, retreating, knowing that if they tried again, they would fail. I looked behind me to check they were gone. After, I diverted my attention back to 8. Picking him up, I checked his injuries; he was in a bad state, I had to get him back to headquarters quickly. "Hey captain! We are here to get you!" I called out to Cap. He came out of his hiding spot, and walked over. "Thank you for saving me 3, I hope that 8 can recover." "Let's get out of here," we nodded at each other and started to walk out. I looked down at 8, he seemed so innocent, and kind of cute. I blushed. But then shook my head, telling myself he was only a friend, or was he? I couldn't be getting feelings for him, could I? I started down at him, and walked out to the surface with him in my arms.

~8s POV~

Suddenly I remember the fight from 2 years ago, the one between me and 3. We were fighting each other, before a shadowy figure attacked us, sending us down to Deepsea Metro. That was the last time I knew my past. From then on, I had lost my memory.

~3s POV~

Pearl and Marina were there wating for us. Captain had already got on the helicopter, all that was left was for me to get on with them. I stepped onto the helicopter and layed the injured 8 down as we flew off to Headquarters.

I started to think about what went on down in Deepsea Metro with the octolings. The glasses they were waring, they looked familiar, 8 had the same pair on his belt. I still didn't know what they did, so I ignored it and just hoped that they weren't dangerous. The important thing was that we all got out alive, and completed the mission.
