Chapter 7: New Allies

~3s POV~

We arrived back at Headquarters were I took 8, in my arms, and placed him on the couch. 1 and 2 were waiting for the report on the mission, and Captain was talking to 5 and 6 about music. "So 3, how did it go?" 1 came up to me, I was kneeled on the floor next to 8, looking at him and blushing. I was lost in my thoughts, did I really have feelings for him? "3 are you ok?" 1 asked me again. I looked up and nodded, she could tell that I was zoned out. So she decided to ask me that one question, I didn't want anyone to ask.

"You have feelings for him, don't you?" She chuckled, knowing that I did, I just didn't want to admit it. "N-no, I don't h-have feelings for h-him. W-why?" I was stuttering, it was obvious I had started getting feelings. I blushed harder and 1 looked at me. "You do, you just won't admit it. Don't worry, I'll keep it a secret." "Thanks Callie, I don't need those two over there to find out, they'll probably tell the entire city knowing them." We both laughed, and then returned to the conversation we were supposed to be having.

"So how did the Mission go?" "It went ok, I found captain in no time, but octolings had found me. 8 ran in and protected me from them, but since they still hate him for 'betraying' their side, they injured him badly. But I managed to fight them off and brought 8 back up, along with Captain." I explained to Callie, and as I was doing so, Marie walked over. "Sounds like you had a rough time!" Callie said, Marie interupted us though, "Well thank you 3 for bringing back Gramps, and a very injured 8. Speaking of agents, I have someone for you to meet." I got up and followed her to the enterence of the Squidbeak Splatoon. And without knowing it, Leon was stood their, in an agent outfit holding his Clear Dapple Dualies.

"3 meet 4. The agent who saved Callie and the zapfish. Also defeated Octavio for the second time. I'll let you too have some time to talk," Marie finished and walked back inside to go and catch up with Cpt. "Hey 3, long time no see!" 4 was smiling and twirling his Dualies. "Never knew you were an agent Leon, thought you were just a normal citizen, like everyone else." "That's what I thought about you until Pearl and Marina told the entire city about your identity." He laughed and I just rolled my eyes. After a bit, 4 stopped laughing and saw me looking upset or worried. He asked me what was wrong and I explained, "8 was badly injured and he isn't doing well." 4 looked confused, "Who's 8?" Oh yeah, he doesn't know, does he. So I told him to follow me, and I showed him Tobias, who after a bit, 4 realised was 8. "Don't worry he'll be fine." He reassured me as I Iooked at 8.

"3 and 4, can you come over here please." 2 called us over to explain what we had to do next. "4, I need you to patrol Octo Canyon and Inkopolis, there has been an increase in octarian activity. 3, I need you to get 8 home and let him get some rest; wrap up his injuries and be ready for when I contact you." We nodded and went our ways. 4 was patrolling Inkopolis first, so he helped me get 8 home, while looking around for octolings." Thanks for the help 4, I appreciate it." I thanked him and opened the door, "any time!" I took 8 inside and layed him on his bed. I went and got dressed into my pj's and found the medkit.

I wrapped up his arm that was bleeding with a bandage, and put a plaster on the cut that was on his head, and legs. I was concerned about him, so I stayed with him for a few minutes before leaving the room. I was kind and put his belt on the desk, hoping he would be a bit more comfortable without it on. I went to the living room and layed down on the couch, turned on the TV and watched a movie.

~a few hours later~

I had fallen asleep for a few hours but waken up by a loud bang. I got up suddenly and picked up my Hero shot. "Tobias, is that you?" I shouted. He didn't reply. So I decided to go to his room to investigate. "Tobias?" I opened his door and walked in. He was stood up, facing away from me. I was confused, he was injured really badly, how did he heal so quickly? But then he turned around. He was wearing the pair of glasses that he carried round on his belt. "Tobias..." He ran at me and punched me. This wasnt the normal Tobias, something had happened to him.
