I wake up to Cora shaking me and trying to get me to wake up quickly. "Cmon! Get out of bed! You're gonna miss the announcement for the splatfest winner!" Cora pulled me up and tried to get me out of bed. I rubbed my eyes and slowly got out of bed, hesitating because I was still tired. "Cmon!" She grabbed my arm and pulled me to the living room, where we sat on the couch and turned the TV on. Cora was really excited to see who won, I was also exited, but also tired as Cora woke me up. She handed me a cup of tea as we watched off the hook.

Pearl: Y'all know what time it is!
Marina: It's Off The Hook, coming at you live from Inkopolis Square!
Pearl: Marina! Why don't your share the breaking news?
Marina: Breaking news? What did you break this time?
Pearl: I didn't break anything! I was talking about the splatfest results!
Marina: OOH! The splatfest results are in!
Pearl: Aight, first let's see which team was the most popular.
Marina: Let's find out!

The numbers on the screen randomised for a few seconds before showing the percentage for each team.

Chaos: 58.05%       Order: 41.95%

Pearl: All right, now for the part that matters.
Marina: Yeah, popularity isn't everything.
Pearl: Lets see which team got the most clout in normal and pro matches.
Marina: Please please pleeeeeease!

Once again, the numbers randomised for a few seconds before showing the percentages.

Chaos:51.39%-Normal-Order:48.61
Chaos:50.34%- Pro-Order:49.66%

Pearl: Are you kidding me?!
Marina: Wow!
Pearl: Ok, y'all. Its time...
Marina: The final results!
Pearl: The winner of this splatfest is...

All the percentages started to come on screen in order--haha get it? In order!-- Chaos had clearly won.

Pearl: CHAOS REIGNS!
Marina: NOOOOOOOO!
Marina: INKOPOLIS IS DOOMED!
Pearl: MUAHAHAHAHAHA!

Me and Cora got off the couch and shouted, "YAY!" We hugged each other and then sat back down again. We were so happy that chaos won! But the announcement didn't stop there...

Pearl: It's time for everything to change. And it starts with off the hook... Marina, these last few years have been amazing... Easily the best years of my life. But I can't shake the feeling we are missing out in other experiences.
Marina: Pearl. You don't have to do this
Pearl: Let me finish, Marina. I thought about this for the entire splatfest. And I've made up my mind. It's time for Off the Hook to break.
Marina: NO! Don't say it!
Pearl: it's time for Off the Hook to break...

We both sat there speechless, thinking that they were about to break up Off the Hook, but then Pearl finished what she was saying.

Pearl: Into new genres of music.

We both sighed in relief. We both thought that they were breaking up, but they were actually transitioning into new music. They had really got us just then.

Pearl: Hip Hop. Cuddlecore. You name it! WE GONNA TAKE OVER THE WORLD!
Marina: WHAT?! So Off the Hook isn't breaking up?!
Pearl: What?! HECK NO! You and me are gonna rock the mic together until the end of time! Or at least until I can get my solo career off the ground. BAHAHAHA! I'm just playin', Marina. You know I love you.
Marina: Pearl... I... I... I'm so happy right now...
Pearl: It's you and me against the universe, 'Rina! Let's wake the sleepin' giants with our sloppy sonic science!
Marina: Yeah... Let's bring our bumpin' beats to the oceans and the streets! Big ups to the fans for sticking with us through thick and thin.
Pearl: And big ups to Team Chaos for sticking it to those orderly guppies! Splatfests may be coming to an end, but Off the Hook is just getting started! And that's all the time we have got! Until next time...
