Jess's POV

What do I do? WHAT DO I DO?!

How am I going to get to The Few to find out if they're safe if I can't even get over halfway there? I can't contact them, I can't teleport there, I don't have any of my powers.

I pace up and down my room, holding my head in my hands. My heart is racing and I'm worried about my friends, my family, the only people who I truly trust, except for my sisters and parents of course.

It's then that I get an idea. I can't go there, but maybe one of my souls can. "Willow, Phoenix, I have an idea" I say, sitting down on my bed.

"What's your idea?" Phoenix asks. I take a breath, "Are one of you able to go to The Hall and see if The Few are safe?" I ask them, cause I genuinely don't know.

"Jess, if one of us split for your body for even a few minutes, you'll be at a high risk of dying then and there, you know we are the reason you're alive" Willow says.

It's true. When Shelby and I were born, both of us were going to die. Something had happened during the transfer of our essence from our real mother to our step mother. How is that possible? Well, let's just say that our real mother had fell deathly ill while she was pregnant with us. If she died with us still growing, we would of died too, so our mother got our dad to save us by putting us into essence, in which we remained like that for 2 years, almost 3, until our dad and our new Step-Mother, Starfire, got married and she opted to become pregnant with us.

You can figure out the rest. All I'll say is; MAGIC!

But anyway, yeah, when we were born, we were going to die. Dad took the final chance to save us by fusing both of us with a couple souls each. Well, Shelby was given 3 souls.

Mine are Willow and Phoenix.

Shelby's are Grace, Sylvi and Mikayla, or Mickey.

"I know Willow, but I need to know that they're safe" I say, a pleading tone in my voice.

Phoenix and Willow both go silent for a minute. "I'll do it" Willow speaks.

"Willow! What if-!" Phoenix gets cut off.

"Phoenix, it's our job to help Jess, the least we can do is help her with this" Willow says.

Phoenix sighs, "I know, I'm just worried I guess..."

"And I understand that, but this is important to Jess" Willow continues.

I nod to this.

"F-Fine. I'll try and keep her safe for as long as I can, just try not to take too long, I don't know how long I'll last on my own" Phoenix says.

"I know. Jess, is there anything you want me to bring with me?" Willow asks.

I go silent and think for a couple moments before saying, "I'll write a note for them, bring it with you. They need to know where I've been and that I need their help in order to get back" I say, going over to my desk and beginning to write out a letter.

Once I do, I grab a lighter, just in case, since she does need fire every so often so she can stay sane. I don't pack any clothes since she'll be translucent. Since she died thousands of years ago, she's a ghost, so she has no need for new clothes, just a lighter or some sort of fire source.

"Okay, you ready?" I ask.

"Yeah" Willow replies.

I take a deep breath and sit down on my bed. I've never done this before, and I'm worried.
