Christians point of view:
I'm on my way to the bar where I'm gonna meet Nick - my best friend since high school. I really hope he doesn't judge me if I tell him about Lynn and me.
I'm the first to arrive, so I sit down at a tableand order a coke. Nick enters the bar right then. I wave at him and he sits down across from me.
"He mate. How are you?" He asks.
"I'm good and you?"
"Too."
The waiter comes and Nick orders a coke, too. We both are here with our car so we can't drink a beer.
"So what are the news you wanted to tell me?"
"Well. It's a long story, but I have a girlfriend now."
"Congrats. How is she?"
"She's great, really. But.. she's my student." I say.
"Christian, are you serious!?"
"Calm down! But,yes I am. I truly love her. "
"Man you could to to jail! How old is she?"
"She's turning 18 next month."
"Oh my god I can't believe it." He seems shocked.
"Please calm down. You will meet her at my birthday party, but you can't tell anyone that we're together. Her parents will be there too.. "
"Her parents?! "
"I'm kind of friends with her Dad. I met him at Alex birthday party."
"And you are dating their daughter? Nice shit, bro." He's laughing and still can't really believe what I'm telling him right now.
I tell Nick the whole story: how everything started at new years eve and then the weekend I lived at her house, the break up and so on.
"You seem happy. " he says.
"I am. And I want you to meet her."
"Of course. Tell me when and I'll be there."
"Great. Her best friend will be there, too. Maybe we can arrange that before my birthday."
"Okay."
"So, is there any girl in your life?" I ask and try to focus on him.
"No. I'm single but that doesn't mean that I'm lonely." He smirkes. Nick is a womanizer but if he's ever in serious relationship than it's like his player self never existed. He's a good man. And I'm glad he doesn't judge me.
When I'm back home, I call Lynn right away.
"Hey sweetheart." I say when she picks up.
"Hey." I can hear her smile. It makes me to smile even more. What does this girl to me?
