When I enter the school building the next morning, I suddenly start feeling nervous. I have English with Christian in my last lesson today and I don't know how he will act around me.

But first Math. Ugh.

At lunch I'm sitting at a table with Julia, Matt, Joe and some other classmates and we chat about the boys soccer match this weekend. I can see Christian sitting with another teacher on a table in the right corner. Our eyes meet, when someone taps my shoulder.

"What?"

"I was asking if you would like to go on another date with me tonight?" Matt asks. Oh. I wasn't even listening to their conversation. Julia and Matt look at me with a hopeful expression. I don't know what to say. I look at Christian one more time before answering his him.

"I'm sorry, Matt, but I just want to be friends with you."

"Oh alright."

"Please, don't be mad."

"I'm not, I just thought you'd like me, too."

"I do, but just as a friend. " I hope he can understand it and it doesn't hurt him or our friendship much.

"Is there someone else?" He suddenly asks.

"Ahm yes to be honest." My mouth was faster than my mind.

"Who? Do I know him?"

"No." I lie. "And it just started, so it's nothing personal. I just don't know where this will go."

Luckily the bell rings and I quickly  stand up to go to my next lesson. I feel so bad for Matt..

Now it's time for my English lesson. Julia and I enter our classroom together. Christian sits already at his desk.

"Good morning Mr. Richards " Julia smiles. He looks up and smiles at us. I shyly smile back and look down. We sit down and he starts his lesson soon after.

He acts like nothing ever happened between us. It confuses me a bit but I also understand that he has to act like this. He could loose his job when someone find out about us and tells the principal. Just now, it hit me. How much he his risking to be with me. And how our relationship must be a secret until I graduate.

The bell rings and everyone packs their stuff to leave school for the day. When Julia and I pass him, he smiles at me. I smile back and finally leave school. When I'm on my way home, I receive a message from Christian.

What are u doing today? -C

Nothing. U? -L

Do you want to go to the movies? :)

I'd like to :)

Great. I pick you up at 6 and we can grab something to eat before. -C

Okay. I tell my parents I'm with friends

I'm sorry that you have to lie to your parents ..

I have no choice .. but I'm happy to see you :-*

Me too! -C

When I'm home I eat a yogurt and do my homework. Luckily it's not a lot and as soon as I'm done with them, I start to get ready for my date with Christian.

When I go downstairs I tell my parents that I'm going to see a movie with Julia. I wait for Christian down the street, so my parents won't see us together. His car arrives on time.

"Hey." I smile, when I climb into the passenger seat.

"Hey sweetheart " I blush.

"You're so cute when you blush. "

"Stop that and drive" he cuckels and starts the car.

"Where do you want to eat?" He asks.

"Wendys?" I smile bright.

"Alright" He laughs. I turn the radio on and sing along. When I look at Christian I see him smiling. That makes me smile as well. I really enjoy his company. I can be myself without even thinking. We eat our burger in the car and talk about random things and then drive to the theater outside the city, so the chance of running into someone from school is not as high as going to the movies downtown.

"Which movie do you want to see?"

"Ahm. If I stay? I read the book."

"Okay, great."

We watch the movie and I cry most of the time. I'm such a cry baby. But books and movies make me so emotional. The book already made me cry and this is a great Adaption of the story, so obviously it has me in tears, too. Christian has his arms around me. He is so sweet. I don't even feel embarrassed for crying in front of him.

"Did you liked the movie?" He asks, when we walk back to the car.

"Yes, it was a great adaption of the book. Did you like it as well or was it too cheesy?" I laugh.

"It was good. But I better bring you home now." he puts his arm around my shoulder.

"Yeah. My curfew is at 10 anyway. "

"We're on time then." He smiles and kisses me.

He drives me home and kisses me goodbye, before I get out of the car. I walk up the street and arrive at home right on time.
