I open my eyes and quickly close them again. The sun is shining in my room and it's too bright for me to bear. I try open them again to adjust to the light. My head hurts a bit. I turn around and see Mia still sleeping next to me. I grab my phone. It's 1 pm. I have 2 messages from Christian.
Did you get home safely?
Good morning honey :-*
I smile and type:
Good morning :-* We took a cab home. Mia is still asleep :)
He: Did you have fun? :)
Me: Yes! :)
"Good morning. " says Mia then.
"Good morning." I smile at her and put my phone down.
"My head hurts so much." She says.
"Mine's not too bad"
"You didn't drink as much as me."
"That was your decision." I laugh. "Come on lets have some breakfast. " I add.
"Sounds good."
We go downstairs in our pj's and make us some food in the kitchen. We take our plates in the living room and I turn Netflix on for some TV show.
Right when we finish our breakfast my mom enters the living room.
"Hey girls. How was your night?"
"Good." I answer.
"Go changing. We want to get ice cream and if you like we can plan your spring break trip." Mom says.
"Of course." I smile.
"Mia, you can use the bathroom first and I'll get you a headache pill."
"You're the best." She smiles, hugs me and goes upstairs.
"Too much alcohol? " Mom asks smiling.
"I don't have a headache." Not anymore.
I get her the pill and follow Mia back upstairs. I'm searching for something to wear in my closet and decide on a light skinny jeans with a simple gray T-Shirt and a cardigan on top. When Mia finishes in the bathroom I go in there and get ready. I just put on some mascara and lip balm. Then we go back downstairs to my parents, who are already waiting for us.
Dad is driving to the cafe. We order our ice cream and mom pulls out a brochure about Miami.
"So how many days are we staying?" I ask.
"Just 5." Mom says.
"Our hotel is at the beach." Says Mia excited. I smile at her widely.
They serve our ice cream and then we decide on a date. Dad pulls out his notebook and books our flights and hotel. I'm so happy! We're already leaving in 1,5 weeks!!
After that, we drive Mia home and back at my house, I go in my room and put on some sweatpants and a old T-Shirt. I just lay down in my bed when my phone rings. I look at the caller ID: Christian. I smile and pick up.
"Heey." I say.
"Hey babe." I blush at his nickname.
"How are you?" I ask then.
"Fine but I'm missing you. How are you? "
"You just saw me yesterday, but I'm good." I laugh.
"But I do. Anyway I heard that you met Nick last night."
"Yes, Mia was impressed from his hotness."
"He told me about her." He chuckles.
"Do I have to be scared? " he adds
"About what?"
"That you'll leave me for Nick."
"Of course not. I just want you."
